This year Hillcrest started our very first Gender Wars! This included a full week of games and contests to determine which was the better gender. At the assembly, everyone received a bracelet and was able to switch with another gender to wear to out first Spontaneous dance. The games included an intense game of dodgeball and balloon popping! Whichever gender donated the most money for Angel Tree won the battle. This year, the boys earned the highest dollar amount.

The Student Body Officers put on an awesome Christmas Assembly for the school this year. There were rewards for the students from earning certain amounts of money for Angel Tree. Students gave money in hopes of a date with an SBO. At our Locks of Love Assembly, we had twelve students who ag reed to donate their hair in order to create wigs for those we needed them. All of the students donated at least ten inches of hair!

Hillcrest's Talent Show was a blast! There were performances ranging from sweet snowboarding videos to unique xylophone-ists to killer dances. Dan Limb danced to Eye Of The Tiger, which was a crowd favorite- check him out on YouTube! Everyone at Hillcrest has so much talent it was difficult to narrow down the top choices to perform. This year's show was so fun to watch and the performers had an awesome time as well!
