Hillcrest's Intensity is accurately shown through it's academics. Hillcrest is one of the few schools in the district that has the International Baccalaureate Pro- gram. Students in this program take harder classes, harder tests, and have a higher level of intensity. Hillcrest also offers Advanced Placement Courses, which give the student col- lege credit with the right test score. We also have concurrent enrolment which allows students to take college classes at the high school without paying college tuition. All of hillcrests students have a great advantage by attending Hillcrest, where the world is open to them through their academic classes.

Encouraging Husky Club is open to all students. The focus is on encouraging student envolvement in activities outside of the school. PRRTY !! All peer tutors are in Husky Club, but many people come to the activities that are not members because they enjoy it so much .
