Welcome to the eighteenth (18th) edition of The Living Day By Day Magazine. The Living Day By Day Magazine continues to be a blessing in so many families near and far. I am grateful for such an awesome journey and an awesome assignment from God to reach and encour- age the world. As I write the Editor’s Note for the eighteenth (18th) edition of the Living Day By Day Magazine, I clearly heard God say, “I Fixed It”. If we all can be honest, 2016 has been a rough year. Some can even say that 2015 was a rough year as well. As you enter into 2017, I encourage you to enter the year with P.E.A.C.E…..Power, Abundance, Excitement, Confidence and Encouragement. God has already Fixed It for you. If you trust God, you can enter into P.E.A.C.E knowing that God will deal with every issue that concerns you. The bible tells us in Psalms 138:8 that: The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth forever: forsake not the works of thine own hands. I’m excited about YOUR future. Your future may not look good now, but I stand on God’s word as I promise you that you are about to enter into the BEST season of your life. Stop worrying about how you are going to enter into the BEST season of your life. God already has a perfect plan worked out just for you. We have to learn how to position ourselves for God’s blessings to flow in our life. Worry- ing will not produce Godly results, but praying and trusting in God will produce a multitude of bless- ings in your life. Psalm 23 states that: 1. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 3. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. This scripture speaks volumes to my soul. No matter what I see or how I feel, I have learned to trust God with the desires of my heart. I believe the bible when itstates that I will NOT have any wants in my life because I know that God has already for me and my family. I trust God that HE has restored my soul and that HE ishas lead me into a path of righteousness for HIS name’s sake.No matter how it looks right now, be confident that God has already Fixed It just for you. The year of 2017 will be an awesome year for you. I declare and decreethat you will live your BEST life in 2017. Whatever you are believing God to do, ask God to do it for you in 2017. In closing, I encourage you to embrace 2017 and to position yourself for GREATEST. God has already Fixed It foryou. Whatever your IT is…know that God has already Fixed It. Pastor Tyrone Lane Fresh Impact Church, Pearland, TX — “Impacting Lives” In the spring of 1998, Pastor Tyrone Lane became a member of Triumph Church in Nederland, Texas where Bishop Randy and Pastor René Clark presided. During his time with this ministry, the Lord began healing him from the past hurts, troubles, and trials he had faced since his early childhood. He attended Midwest Theological Seminary via Triumph Bible Institute, where he received his Bachelor of Theology and a Master of Christian Psychology. These were some of his best years in ministry and he received an education from the Word of God and an impartation of the Spirit of God from each teacher as the Lord continued to grow him. Pastor Tyrone Lane was licensed, and ordained at the age of twenty-two by Bishop Randy Clark, Bishop Tudor Bismark, Pastor Mike Hayes, and Pastor Keith Craft. Pastor Lane is a gifted and anointed preacher who travels extensively to many cities and countries teaching and preaching the Word of God. After Pastor Lane’s ordination, his position at Triumph Church went from being the Director of Focus Singles Ministry to Pastor. While serving on the pastoral staff at Triumph Church he began to see the Lord transform single men, single women, and single parent’s lives. In 2004 Pastor Lane was called to be the youth pastor in a mega church, Stone Mountain, Georgia. During his assignment he saw God grow the youth ministry from about fifty people to five hundred. In additional to his ministry work, Pastor Lane is the founder of Tyrone D. LDBD in every issue ◊ Encouraging Moments You Shall! By Preach Elder Brown In June 2015 Gospel Great recording artist Bishop Marvin Sapp re‐ turned with his highly anticipated 10th solo album You Shall Live. Very powerful and inspiring to push and encourage many that are feeling like giving up. Bishop Sapp has been known by many as the golden voice singing Never Would Have Made It, then a powerful re‐ turn with the song I Win. These and many songs like these have been the anthem of surviving, and not playing the victim. When I would set the tone in my home before worship, I would play many of the songs from Marvin Sapp CDs, and it would just pull you right on in. If someone was sick the doctor would recommend medicine, but many knew that if you wanted to set the tone in the church, at home, or at the of ice, playing his music would do the environment just right. Listen, I know there are sometimes in our lives we are faced with ups and down, and it seems like no one is there, I'm here to tell you, God is there. When it seems like everyone has failed you, and it looks like you need God to move for you, I'm here to tell you, God can. You're not alone, there is someone who is facing today just as you are, and any day on this side of the grass alive, is a good day. I want to encourage you to soar in the things God has spoke to you about, that song he gave you, write it, sing it, and do it. That business, go for it, that book, write it, make it happen. That idea he gave you, bring it out. Just like Bishop Sapp, you have let God use you so that Gods gift in you would bless God, while blessing others. You have what it takes, you just have to pray, let God lead you, and soar. Things won't be perfect at once, and there will be some trial and error before you achieve the wanted results, but you must try, try again. Practice makes perfect, and nothing beats a failure but a try. Today, let's focus on two words out of Bishop Marvin Sapp album titled 'You Shall Live.' Let just look at 'You Shall' this is a declaration of power, anything you put \"You or I\" in front of, 'You' own. Let me explain, often times you read in the bible that God says we shall have what is ours. We shall posses the land, we are more than conquerors, we shall have everlasting life. The list goes on about 'we shall.' This is so awesome be‐cause when you say we, I, or you, this is your declaration that what is yours, you can have, you will have, & you shall have. What I want to tell you is plain and simple, You Shall Win. Looking at this verse today will give you what you need to create today's You Shall. Psalms 1:3 “And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.” www.facebook.com/PreachElderBrownPreach PreachElderBrown@gmail.com LIVING Day By Day•Net Jan • Feb • Mar 2017 | 15
LDBD in every issue ◊ LIVING Today He’s Able By Preach Elder Brown As we embrace the New Year of 2017, doesn't it feel great to know that when everybody else fail you, you have assurance that God will never fail, he wont lack, hold back, or disappear? Some people are only around when things are good, you have money, or when things are in their best interest. In this new season, we have to be aware of 'blessing suckers' more like blood suckers. In today's world, it's seemly set up that some people come to pull out or drain you of the greater good, drain you of your resources, and they have no second thought about it. Sometimes they come just to tell you to give up, it wont work, and ask you, where is your God now? In this New Year, you have to be on your toes to know the people that speak into your life, rather they mean good or evil. You have to spiritually discern their intentions, not just how long you've known them. Some people's mis- sion is to sell you out, and take you to the king, or ruler to have you beheaded. Let me tell you this today, God has a greater plan for your life, for you to live, and not die, have, and not want, prosper, and not perish. He wont let the lions eat you, even if you're the only meat in the cage with them. God will shut the jaws of your adver- sary, and they will not prevail. Just like Daniel in the lions den, God made sure that it was in his control, and not out of control. There may be some things or people that you may face today, tomorrow or next week, and their whole mission is to feed you to the lions, but I'm here to tell you; the lions aren't hungry for you. You may get tossed in the den, but the den wont keep God from you. The den is the situation, the closet, and the circumstances. God is much powerful than what you go through, and he's able to bring you out of what you've been in. Today it may be hard to focus on God, through the eyes of a new President, new job, unfamiliar situations and circum- stances, but I'm here to tell you that everything around you may change, and will change, but God doesn't change. Don't let what's happening in the news give you the blues. God is able to do exceedingly and abundantly than what you can imagine. He is all powerful, and there is nothing too hard for him, nothing too far and out of his reach, and even in a twisted, backsliding world, God is still able even in 2017. www.facebook.com/PreachElderBrownPreach PreachElderBrown@gmail.com 16 | Jan • Feb • Mar 2017 LIVING Day By Day•Net

LDBD in every issue ◊ Healthy Livin’ Healing Begins From Within By Kevin Thornton 2017 is here and the number one resolution people make for the New Year is to lose weight. We join the gym, begin the latest fad diets and fitness crazes. All that is good but in order to really be successful in this weight loss journey, it has to begin from within. As a holistic health coach there are two things I always do with my clients: find out where they are out of balance in their prima- ry foods and conduct a 7 day detox. We all have four primary foods and they are not food you eat. The primary foods are our spirituality, physical activity, career, and relationships. Sometime we are out of balance in one or all four of the primary foods. When we are out of balance in any area, we tend to make poor food selection. Over 75% of people are emotional eaters and when you are out of balance we tend to go to our comfort foods. We have to deal with what is causing us to be out of balance in our primary foods before we do any- thing because if we don’t, we can lose weight without dealing with the issue and eventually we will gain the weight back be- cause we never dealt with the issue inside of us. That’s where health coaches come into play to help ask the necessary ques- tions to help you deal with the issues and help you get back in balance. Once you have dealt with your primary foods, the next thing we have to do before you start an exercise and meal plan regiment is to do a 7 day detox. The detox is use to cleanse the body before starting a meal plan. Are you aware that most people have between 5 and 50 pounds of feces in their body? That is why detoxing is so important, it will help cleanse the system of the feces that is in your body. My clients tend to lose 7 to 12 pounds during a detox and you can see the difference I their skin and energy levels. Now that we are in 2017, with the intention of losing weight, remember to start from within and you will have great results. Kevin Thornton, received his BS in Health Administration from Eastern Michigan U and MAIO in Industrial Organizational Psychology from Argosy University. LDBD in every issue ◊ Medical Spotlight Andrea P. Dunn, Pharm. D. Founder & CEO, Let’s Beehive!, Inc. Dr. Andrea Dunn is a native of Orlando, FL. She is a proud graduate of Howard University College of Pharmacy where she received her Doctorate of Pharmacy degree. She also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science Education with a minor in Community Health from the University of Florida. Dr. Dunn’s interest in HIV/AIDS developed during an internship at the Florida/Caribbean AIDS Education & Training Center (F/C AETC). During this internship, Dr. Dunn assisted an Infectious Disease Clinical Pharmacist by updating Antiretroviral Therapy (ARV) pocket guides and developing continuing education materials for health care professionals that care for children and adults living with HIV/AIDS. She also earned a certificate in HIV Test- ing & Counseling from the Alachua County Health Department and volunteered at the HUG -Me Clinic at the Howard Phillips Center for Children and Families. Dr. Dunn was fascinat- ed by the advancements in HIV medications in their ability to prevent mother to child trans- mission of HIV/AIDS and enabling individuals living with this disease to have a better quali- ty of life. As a result, Dr. Dunn decided to go to pharmacy school and become a Clinical Pharmacist and congruently use both of her degrees to help those in need. The prevalence of HIV/AIDS was very high in Washington, DC and as Dr. Dunn matriculat- ed through pharmacy school, her interest in Critical Care and Infectious Disease continued to grow. She also developed a strong interest in the area of pediatrics after completing pharmacy rotations at Children’s National Medical Center. After pharmacy school, Dr. Dunn continued her education and completed a post graduate year one (PGY-1) Pharmacy Practice Residency at Wolfson Children’s Hospital/Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL and a post graduate year two (PGY-2) Pediatric Specialty Residency at the Walt Disney Pavilion at Florida Hospital for Children in Orlando, FL. During each residency program, she com- pleted Pediatric Infectious Disease rotations at UF Cares Rainbow Clinic and the HUG-Me Clinic to enhance her knowledge in optimizing pharmaceutical care and learn how to im- prove the quality of life of children infected with HIV/AIDS. Dr. Dunn has been practicing as a Pediatric Clinical Pharmacist for the past 7 years and she is very passionate about her specialty within the profession of pharmacy. For the past two years, she has served as the first Emergency Medicine Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at Florida Hospital for Children and she is a vital member of the team. She is a member of the Pediatric Pharmacy Advocacy Group (PPAG), American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP), AACP Pediatric Practice, Infectious Disease & Research Network Group, and the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP). She is also a member of Alpha Kap- pa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity, Inc., Central Florida AIDS Planning Consortium (CFAP) and the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW). Based on witnessing a variety of patient experiences and the alarming statistics of HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted infections increas- ing among youth and young adults disproportionately affected by these disease, Dr. Dunn decided to start a non-profit organization called Let’s Beehive!, Inc.; it is an acronym that stands for “Let’s Be HIV Educated.” It is her belief that “education is the key to success” is in conquering the fight against HIV/AIDS. Early detection can save lives, but HIV Education can too! In order to put an end to HIV/AIDS, we have to educate our children with comprehensive sex education programs to teach them how to protect themselves before engaging in risky behaviors. Andrea P.
