Did You Know… Medicare does not process DME claims in “real time.” Medicare regulations have a 14 day payment floor and a 30 day payment ceiling. Payment for these claims will not be released until the 14th and 30th days after Medicare receives the claims. Any claims processed after 31st are subject to an interest payment from Medicare.
