आज मा या शाळेचा प हला दवस! आई माझा हात ध न मला घऊे न चालली आह.े “आई गं, आता मी मोठ झालेय हं.” मी हणत.े “सोड माझा हात, मला एकट ला चालू दे!” आई माझा हात आणखी घ पकडते. 2/7

शाळेपाशी मलु ाचं ी खपू च गद आहे. कु णी बसनं येतयं , कु णी कारमधून. काही जण र ानं तर काही सायकलव न. मा यासारखी चालत येणारी मलु पं ण आहते . 3/7

आ ही आता शाळे या दाराशी पोचलोय. आई माझा हात सोडत.े आतम ये मला एकट लाच जायचयं . मा या भोवती कतीतरी नवे चेहरे दसतायत. 4/7

मी एक पाऊल पुढे टाकत.े मग सर.ं मागे वळून बघत,े तर आई लहान लहान होत चाललीय. ती दसेनाशीच होईल का? मी धावत आईकडे जात.े आता मला मी इतक मोठ झालये असं नाही वाटत. मी तचा हात पकडत.े आ ण हणत,े \"तू मला सोडून जाऊ नको.\" 5/7

आता सगळ मुलं आत गले ीत. बाहेर मी एकट च आहे. बाई बाहरे येतात आ ण मा याकडे बघनू हसतात. मीपण हसत.े आई हणत,े “तू शाळा सुट यावर बाहेर येशील न,ं ते हा मी इथेच असने , बरं का.” मी तचा हात सोडते. ती मा याकडे बघत हात हलवत.े 6/7

मी धावत आत जात.े शाळा सुटली क आई परत इथचे भटे णार! 7/7
