WHY DO CHILDREN NEED MATHEMATICS SO MUCH?
There is no point in arguing for the need to study mathematics. It is the main school subject in which most universities and colleges take their proficiency exams, the foundation for the study of other exact sciences, and the basic knowledge needed in life by everyone.

Oral calculation, solving examples, equations and problems develops logical thinking. Everyone needs the ability to compare, evaluate, systematise and analyse, including those in the humanities.

WHY DO CHILDREN NOT LIKE MATHEMATICS?
There are some parents who are sure that their child does not understand mathematics, because they themselves had problems at school. This is the easiest way to proceed. However, if the child has no congenital serious developmental defects, then this "queen of sciences" will be available to every child. There are several reasons for problems with mathematics:

It is difficult for a baby, because he has not developed the necessary abilities - logical thinking, rationality.
A child is bored. Children are little explorers who are happy to explore the world in all its manifestations. If a child does not pay attention to mathematics, it means that the teacher failed to show him how interesting it is.
Your child is afraid. It sounds strange, but it is. In this discipline the words "proof", "required" are present. They can take away a child's confidence in his abilities.
The child doesn't understand why they need it. Until children know where they can apply their knowledge, they will not fully commit to science. The challenge for parents and teachers is to show their child how maths will make their life easier and why it is important.
THE MAIN MISTAKES IN LEARNING MATHS
The biggest mistake adults make is that they rush too much into making a child count, add and subtract, and solve problems. Children may learn that 2+2 is four and 10-5 is five. But 50% of first graders don't know the basics. The main thing is that the child understands what is the composition of numbers, then all the rest of arithmetic will be easy and enjoyable for him.
