South Korean figure skater Lee Hae-in (19), who was recently suspended due to allegations of inappropriate conduct with a younger male teammate, has regained temporary eligibility to compete, following a court decision to suspend the disciplinary action.
On November 12, the Seoul Eastern District Court granted an injunction filed by Lee, halting the enforcement of her suspension. According to the court, Lee’s actions toward the junior skater, identified as "A," did not constitute misconduct.
The court clarified that inappropriate conduct should be defined as an act causing sexual discomfort or violation of one’s personal autonomy.
