GST Registration is the procedure through which a taxpayer registers for the Goods and Service Tax (GST). The Goods and Service Tax Identification Number (GSTIN) is given once the registration process is complete. The Central Government provides the 15-digit GSTIN, which is used to help identify whether a business must pay GST.
