In the 1960s the Spirit of God moved along the East Coast of South Africa, from Richard's Bay to Durban to Port Shepstone, resulting in the Coastal Assemblies of God. We became affectionately known as "The Coastals". The name stuck as our God-given vision spread inland and abroad. Today we are a Fellowship of Assemblies across Southern Africa, Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia, the UK and the USA.

Our love for the truth (as revealed in God’s Word - the Bible) and the revelation of Jesus Christ, binds us firmly together. We have a passion to establish Assemblies of God's people everywhere, based on the Principles of the Doctrine of Christ as revealed in the New Testament. We are committed to "earnestly contend for the faith once delivered to the saints" - Jude 1:3.
