First, check to make sure the printer is turned on and plugged into a power outlet. If it is, try restarting both the printer and your computer. If that doesn't work, try unplugging the printer for a minute or two, then plug it back in. Finally, if none of those work, you may need to reinstall the printer driver on your computer.
