How did the water disappear? Ans. Heat from sunlight changed the water in the puddle to water vapour in the air. 1) Why is it that all clouds do not come down as rain? Find out. Ans. All clouds have heavy water droplets in them. These droplets are pulled down. But, when they come in contact with warmer air, they change to water vapour. So, the clouds whose droplets have changed to vapour do not come down as rain. 2) How do wet clothes dry when we keep them indoors? Ans: Air present in the room causes the water in the wet clothes to change into water vapour. So, the clothes dry. 3) In monsoon, clothes dry with difficulty. Why is it so? Ans. In monsoon, the clouds cover the sky. So, the Sun is often hidden behind the clouds. Hence, the clothes do not get enough heat and dry with difficulty. TB: Forms of Water

As the day goes on, the air becomes warm and polluted. The dust and smoke of the vehicles and factories get mixed with the air. 1) In this way, the levels of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the air are maintained. What will happen to this balance, if we cut trees unnecessarily? Ans. Plants take in carbon dioxide from the air to make their food. They give out oxygen during this process.
