1 1 Douliu Social Housing 斗 六 社 會 住 宅 斗六社會住宅 Douliu Social Housing, Taiwan What is social housing? Social housing is let at low rents on a secure basis to those who are most in need or struggling with their housing costs. Normally councils and not-for-profit organisa- tions (such as housing associations) are the ones to provide social housing. Social housing is available to a range of people. For example, you could be housed by your local council if you are: Disabled or have specific needs, Elderly, A single parent, A large or young family with depedant children, A migrant, refugee or asylum seeker, Unemployed. Cultural factors, so that we expect to have a home ownership, I believe if you have wealth homeownership rate data can reflect some facts, show we regard- ing the desire to have a house, but does not reflect such as the vast majority is very painful only in exchange for a building is not necessarily satisfactory house and many people are even the house can't afford it. Noisy analysis In some of the noise, we do attribute partition space, public space places relatively close to the main road, which part of the house is on the south side comparison inside, but we also export some of the major parts of the design in the west, but not in the design of the north main road. View analysis looking out from the base itself little good landscape outside, except in someone else’s private farmland west, north, the main road, a lot of poor landscape the car, with the southeast is a residential area so there’s no view, so in this design, I'll create their own green landscape.

Two-way road East elevation The two-way road surrounds the base, and when designed later, multiple entrances can be designed to enter the base. Pedestrian analysis The original base has only one sidewalk, and in the later design, the sidewalk around the base will be added. Traffic flow analysis North elevation There are main roads on one side of the base, in the later South elevation design, the parking entrance will be avoided. 2 3 Al-Noor Mosque 光 の 清 真 寺 Design concept Base configuration The main building is near the parking lot to the west (Kabbah), while the house is arranged in the north, and the tower is placed at the intersection as a clear sign. Final- ly, the two entrances are the main entrance to the mosque, and the other is from the west to the parking lot. The path to the mosque. The courtyard landscape combines the two entrances with the eastbound park and the southbound school to form a complete path. Use the height difference to create a sense of sacredness and sublimity The design of the building uses the height difference to make the building off the ground so that the building symbolizes sacredness and upwards and floats in the air. The proposal of Al-Noor Mosque Use water to purify the body and mind The design of the use of water in the space, before entering the prayer hall, will pass through the water before going to the prayer hall, symbolizing the image of purifying the body and mind.

24 Design a hierarchical path space Buildings use many levels of path design to create a kind of image that moves from human secular to sacred space. The journey of this middleman has made people gradually prepare to change their temperament. Use light as a guiding direction In the prayer hall, light is used on the main wall and visually used as a direction to guide people to worship. It was composed of angels, and the Muslims prayed to the most sacred place of Kabbah under the guidance of angels. Overall architectural shape The \"space\" that the mosque opens as a communication between man and God is also the \"entrance\" and \"door\". The concept of the door is used as the overall design. Prayer in the eyes of Muslims can be held not only in mosques, but also at home, at school, and even in public transportation. So no matter where the Muslims are, they can open the door between Muslims and Allah. Gate Gate Gate Gate Gate 清真寺 (Mosque) 門 (Gate) 阿拉 (Allah) Taichung Al-Noor mosque
