Halal Pak Tai for Halal Insight this month would love to HALAL Pak Tai keep you updated about activities and events relating to Halal that took place in the southern areas of Thailand. Let’s start with the HAL-CLICK platform testing event. HAL-CLICK is the system that tracks Halal food production in hospitals that utilize HAL-Q system. This project is in cooperation with Halal Science Development Foundation, and it is financially supported by National Innovation Agency (NIA) in developing innovation of website, application, and Halal food production tracking system that is trustworthy with HAL-Q system for hospitals in southern border provinces. Currently, there are 40 hospitals that HAL-Q system are installed by Halal Science Center, Chulalongkorn University, Pattani Office. This innovation is created in order to make Halal food production tracking to comply with HAL-Q system regulations, and to make the process runs smooth and fast. Halal Science Center, Chulalongkorn University 31 (Chiang Mai Office) has interviewed its people in different areas about lifestyle and tradition from past to present, which covers their daily life experience and the variety of customs, traditions, cultures, and beliefs in each community. Most significantly, this endeavor has collected various Islamic organizations to provide knowledge about Islam to ChiangMai people. Halal Science Center, Chulalongkorn University (Chiang Mai Office) would love to share how Chiang Mai people cohabit harmoniously despite differences in terms of religious beliefs. Outstandingly, Chiang Mai has its own culture that inherits from ancient years of history. This is what its people are proud of and plays a vital role in their life generation after generation. Besides, Chiang Mai consists of various cultures, ethnicities, and religions. No wonder, this counts as another magnetism of the province.
