ESDA Pro events will be a 16 driver double elimination bracket ( 2 loss willeliminate a driver from the event). If a driver makes it to grand final from the losersbracket and win. That driver will reset the match as the driver from winner's side of thebracket is sent to loser’s. From there the overall event winner will be chosen.Bracket Example:5.2 Am EventESDA Am events will be open bracket single elimination (1 Loss will eliminate a driverfrom the event).Bracket Example:

5.3 World Event ESDA World events are a 32 driver invitation only tournament based off placings.Single elimination (1 Loss will eliminate a driver from the event).5.4 Team Events ESDA Team events are an 8 team event that consists of teams of 3. Best of 3(First team to 2 wins in a battle) Single elimination (1 Loss will eliminate the team fromthe event).5.5 Tandem and Qualifying Information

QualifyingIn competition, each driver will get 2 qualifying runs. Best run will count as their bestscore. Tie-breakers will be determined by the driver’s worst run. Each qualifying run isjudged on three criteria: Line, Angle and Style. Each will get 2 minutes to get to thestarting line and go for runs. This rule has been implemented so time will not be wasted.Drivers will go for 2 runs consecutively (both runs without waiting) with no practice runs. It’s the driver's responsibility to practice before entering the lobby. Driver’s caught goingfor practice runs will be penalized.TandemTandem round is based on two (2) runs in a Head-to-Head format, with competitorspaired up based on seeding position. The higher seed will lead the first run, with thesecond run being led by the lower seed. The critical success factor is for the lead car tobe able to run the course without error while being pressured by the following car. Thefollowing car is to “out drive” the lead car. Driver consistency during a tandem battle iscritical.Lead Car must be able to clear the course without making any errors due to distractionor pressure by the following car.Following Car needs to run the same line as the lead car, but may also take a higherline to pressure the lead driver. Taking a lower line than the lead car will result in a lossof advantage. If the lead car is off-line, the following car will gain advantage points bystaying on the correct line although will not be deducted points for following the lead car.The following car should keep as close to the lead car as possible to gain theadvantage.

5.6 Lobby Setup and ProceduresRulesGame Type: CustomMax Players:24Laps: 1Damage: Simulation or Fuel and TireCollision: OnStart Type: FixedDrive Type:RWDOverridesDisable Wrong Way Indicator: YesPower HandicapsNew to competitive drifting is the Power Handicap buckets. If a vehicle starts with morehorsepower than desired by the competitor (I.E The Hellcat Twins), they may request tobe placed in a Power Handicap bucket, in order to bring the power down to a moreusable level. This can also be used with specific engines that use restrictors (I.E. The5.9L Racing Motor), to reduce it to a usable amount of power. There will be a 5%, 10%,and 15% bucket set aside for any competitor who wishes to utilize it. For those who dowish to use a Power Handicap, they will be required to say so when they register theircar. They can mention it when they punch in their horsepower figure (I.E. 825hp (10%Power Handicap)). This choice is final when registering the vehicle, and may not bechanged once the registration is complete.Car RestrictionsPerformance Index: A Class 600 or Higher2000 lbs or higher.

How cars will be checked based on the ESDA car restrictions After the lobby has been set up with the proper rules, an Event Coordinator orOrganizer will check cars in the multiplayer lobby tune by section. An organizer nameneeds to be under that section to be approved. Section 11 explains car restrictions.Tire ChangesDrivers are not allowed to change tires after just 1 run. Drivers must complete 2 runsbefore a change of tires is allowed.End of Run ProceduresDrivers are not allowed to drift coming back to the starting line. This is to avoid hittingcourse markers.Warm-up Runs No warm up runs on course will be allowed. It’s the driver's responsibility topractice before an event. Driver’s caught doing warm up runs will be penalized.Redo of a RunThis is the following that will result in a redo • Lag during a run • Driver stops before the restart markerThis is the following that will not result in a redo • Equipment failure (Ex:wheel or controller issue). Drivers check your equipment before battling, and controller drifters check for enough battery. • Spin out on Course5.7 Reserves

For ESDA Am, a reserve will be chosen from the qualification list if an Am drivercan’t attend. For ESDA Pro a spot will open if a Pro can’t attend the event. A driver fromthe Am event that placed 9th-16th will be chosen to take their place. Drivers that scoresdouble zero in qualifying will not be eligible as a reserve. 6. ESDA Judging and Scoring6.1 Judging BreakdownTandemThe following scoring factors will be considered for the evaluation of drifting techniques:Three judges will score drivers based off of points. Each Driver can earn a maximumscore of 30 points overall. Each mistake will deduct points from their score. The driverwith the higher score wins.Judges will select from three options:1. Driver “A” wins2. Driver “B” wins3. “Tie”In the event of a tie, a “One More Time” will be granted, and the competitors will beginanother 2-run head-to-head battle. Multiple “One More Times” may be necessary todetermine a winner.LineLine Is the ideal path a vehicle must take on course and is marked by Inner ClippingPoints, Outer Clipping Points, and Transition Zones. • Inner Clipping Point are reference points on the course where the vehicle’s front bumper should come as close as possible to the reference point.

• Inner Clipping Zone are reference points on the course where the vehicle’s front bumper should stay as close as possible to the reference point until zone ends. • Outer Clipping Points (Touch and go) are also reference points and scored by determining how close the corner of the vehicle’s rear bumper comes to the point. • Outer Clipping Zone are reference points on the course where the vehicle’s rear bumper should stay as close as possible to the reference point until zone ends. • Transition Zones are areas on track where the direction of the line changes and vehicles must change the direction of their drift.AngleAngle measures the amount of counter-steer and relative rear slip angle a driver usesthroughout the course. Steering adjustments must a minimal. Transition from corner tocorner must be smooth.StyleStyle is the general feel of the pass and how well the other three c riteria are executedthrough the entirety of the lap. This is the most subjective criteria and judges will look forthe most “excitement” that the driver can bring. Drivers should be able to show fullcontrol of the car at all times. Style is broken down in 3 categories • Initiation i s a quick entry with angle without making close to no mistakes. • Fluidity is keeping control of your car without making any corrections in line and angle while keeping wheels close to lock to lock.

• Commitment is keeping good throttle control, wall tap or any extreme situation with full confidenceMaintaining SpeedDrivers must be able to maintain the appropriate speed. This mainly goes for the leadcar to help the follow car give a proper chase run. Brake checking or any other ways ofthe car slowing down in an area that a driver shouldn’t be slowing down will result in adeduction or zero. On each course there will be areas where the drivers should bemaintaining speed.Passing is allowed in the E-Sports Drift Association. Passing is allowed anywhere oncourse as long as the lead car is clearly off line where judges have specified. Anypassing that occurs outside the scope of the aforementioned criteria will be deemedillegal and constitute an equivalence to a zero (0) run.Collisions occur during tandem battle and in the event of contact. The driver deemed atfault will lose advantage points. Little contact is allowed but not encouraged. Drivers arerequired to complete the entire course, even if the other driver crashes, hits, spins, stallsor is not able to complete the run. Drivers are always being judged as long as they areon course.Pace Roll is a set speed drivers should maintain until the end of the roll zone. Driversare allowed to get up to speed after the roll zone is completed.

Restart Markers is set for follow cars that feel that they got left behind after the roll. The driver has until a certain point to stop and a restart of the run will be approved.6.2 Scoring BreakdownQualifying3 judges will consist of the max of 100 points. This is how scoring determined.Line: 25 PointsAngle:25 PointsStyle: 50 PointsJudge 1: 25 Line + 5 Style=30 PointsJudge 2: 25 Angle + 5 Style=30 PointsJudge 3:40 Style Points__________________________________Total per run= 100 PointsTandem3 main judges, 1 telemetry judge on the lead car, 1 protest judgeDeductions Breakdown(Small Deduction) • When speed is notably lowered, it will be subject to significant deduction of points. • Small Correction (S traightening) • Lack of transition when a car begins drifting and when a car changes the drifting angle from one side to the other, the drift will be subject to deduction of points. • Late transitions when a car begins drifting and when a car changes the drifting angle from one side to the other drift will be subject to deduction of points. • Any jerky motion will result in a reduction of points.

(Medium Deduction) • 1 wheel off course on non-drop areas or 2 wheels off course on drop areas • Mid Correction (Straightening) • If angle is not stable when a car begins drifting and when a car changes the drifting angle from one side to the other drift, it will be subject to a deduction of points. • The place when a car begins drifting became important and the angle was shallow, it will be subject to a deduction of points • Poor fluidity • Getting good angle, but backing to smaller angle is counted as a mistake which is subject to a reduction of points. • Missing the suggested line • When an operational mistake cause some trouble in the running such as a mistake in the shifting operation • Shallowing to catch up to the lead car • Separated from foregoing car after drift (void if the angle of lead car is small) • Separated from foregoing car during drift (void if the angle of lead car is small)(High Deduction or Zero) • 2 wheels off course on a none drop area or 3 or more wheels off course on a drop area • Driving out of the course • Double entry • Abrupt stop • Stalling • Resulting contact causes an abrupt change in the vehicles drift and/or causes a spin • Heavy Correction (Straightening) • Too many adjustment by a hand brake

• Continuous nudging motion of accelerator and lack of press down on the accelerator. Driving conservative (Sandbagging)- not running your car all out. • Illegal overtaking6.3 ProtestingProtest will be allowed only if the driver can show valid proof of the issue happening.Drivers that can’t show valid proof to make a protest will be denied. Drivers can protestupon any non subjective items that are below:- Tire drops- 2 or 3 more wheels off course at the same time (A Zero Run)- Straightening- Hitting a cone or course marker- Double entry- Abrupt stop- Stalling- Resulting contact causes an abrupt change in the vehicles drift and/or causes a spin- Lag Issues that result in contact 7.
