ROBOTHINK ONLINE PROGRAMS WELCOME! We’re excited to have you join us! Congratulations! You’ve taken the first step in inspiring and educating your child on crucial 21st century skills in STEM. At RoboThink, our mission is to be a catalyst to help children realize their inner potential and become the next generation of leaders in STEM. Now that our world-renowned STEM courses are available online, you can partake in this mission from the comfort of your home. We look forward to working with you and your child for many years to come.

ROBOTHINK ONLINE GETTING READY 1. You’ll need to have…  Windows, Mac or Chromebook device with keyboard, mouse/touchpad, webcam and a microphone.  Google Chrome Browser  Broadband Internet Connectivity  iPads do not work! 2. Test your equipment A few days before the class, test your equipment and make sure it’s ready for the Virtual STEM Classroom at: www.myrobothink.com/test Ready to go! Make sure your child is in a quiet environment. Feel free to watch or help your child. Got questions? E-mail or call your teacher.

ROBOTHINK ONLINE JOINING THE CLASS 1. Go to the link You’ll receive a link in the e-mail to join the class. 10 minutes before the class start time, click the link and type in your CHILD'S NAME and your email. Click, join the class. 2. Password In your e-mail, you’ll also have a password to join the class. Type in the password and click submit. If you have any issues, call the teacher number in the e-mail.

ROBOTHINK ONLINE JOINING THE CLASS 3. Activate Webcam & Mic Make sure “Webcam” and “Microphone” are checked. Click activate. 4. Allow on Chrome On the top left hand side of the Google Chrome browser, you’ll get a prompt like this. Click “Allow” You’re ready to go!

TROUBLESHOOTING COMMON ISSUES Webcam, Microphone, Speakers Not Working 1. Click Settings ⚙ in the top right of the virtual classroom 2. Select the drop down menus corresponding to Select Webcam, Select Microphone, and Select Audio Output then choose the device you want to use. *Make sure that no other application is using the microphone or webcam.

TROUBLESHOOTING COMMON ISSUES Is the OS blocking access to your webcam/mic? Windows 10 1. Click the Start Button (Windows icon) in bottom left of desktop 2. Select Settings 3. Click Privacy 4. Scroll through the list on the left to find Camera and select Camera 5. Under Allow Device To Access Camera click the Change button and make sure it is switched on 6. Make sure that under Allow Apps To Access Your Camera is turned on 7. Scroll through the list on the left to find Microphone and select Microphone 8. Under Allow Device To Access Microphone click the Change button & make sure it's switched on 9. Make sure that under Allow Apps To Access Your Microphone is turned on 10. Quit your browser and relaunch MacOS 1. Go to System Preferences 2. Select Security & Privacy 3. Choose the Privacy tab 4. Scroll through the list on the left to find Camera and select Camera *MacOS Mojave 5. Check the box corresponding to your browser within the Allow the apps below to access your camera 6. Scroll through the list on the left to find Microphone and select Microphone *MacOS Mojave 7. Check the box corresponding to your browser within the Allow the apps below to access your microphone 8. You will be prompted to quit your browser. Choose Quit Now 9. Relaunch your browser and join your Newrow Smart session to access to your webcam and mic.

ROBOTHINK ONLINE ROBOTICS A first in the industry, RoboThink Robotics programs are available at home. You’ll receive the patented RoboThink robotics kit in the mail and a guided instructor will take your child through fun engineering challenges. (Coming Soon!) Let's hit the road! As the head of their new car company, your child will create a brand name, logo and line of cars, as well as some of their favorite motorized vehicles! Ages 7 and up. Inspired by popular movies, NASA EXPEDITION and space travel! Come on an adventure building functional robots using unique RoboThink bricks in this super-fun program. Kids will learn about space, space travel, stars and gravity, all while building a variety of interstellar robots and learning some entrepreneurial skills along the way! Ages 7 and up.
