How to Stick to A Skincare Routine? A skincare routine can look different for every person. It depends on your personal preferences and the kind of skin you have. You need to simply understand what your skin needs and what kind of products you want to use in order to carry out a skincare routine. In case that you are not a skincare freak, you can still have a short and easy skincare routine. The benefits of skincare are so many that anyone who is aware of all of them would love to have a good one. Keep it Basic The more items you add to your skincare routine, the harder you make it for yourself to stick to it and this is also the key to consistency with skincare for tweens. Even though most people believe the opposite, having more items in your skincare does not mean that you will get better results. There are many serums, lotions and scrubs etc that are used as items for skincare but using them all can be pretty unreasonable. You should use some important items like a sunscreen and moisturizer for sure in order to ensure that your skin always looks good. After that you can choose which other items to use as per your skin type and skin issues. People with severe acne issues often have to use more products for oil control and removing acne scars etc which is important in order to replenish and rebuild their skin. On the contrary, people who already have smooth and silky skin and only want to prevent damage in the future need to use the bare minimum products which can keep their skin healthy. When the process of skincare is easy and simple, you are more likely to be driven towards it. If the skincare routine is too long, you are more likely to miss it on days that you don’t feel like doing it. Set Reminders Many people simply find it hard to remember to do their skincare. Every morning when you wake up, you have a hundred things to do and barely any time. You want to get ready as soon as possible and leave for work. Amidst all of this chaos, no one feels like they have enough time to even think about skin care in the morning and this especially applies to skincare for tweens. Many women have the habit of immediately applying makeup after showering which is why they

tend to skip their skincare often because they simply fail to remember it. When you come back at night, you might be too exhausted to think about anything else but sleeping. If skincare is something that does not even cross your mind most of the time, there is no way that you will be thinking about it enough to be motivated to actually do it. You will simply have one way to deal with this issue and that is to set reminders for yourself so that you do not forget your skincare. Whether it is your morning or night skincare routine, make sure that your calendar knows about it and notifies you at the same time every single day so that your brain can never forget about this crucial task of the day. If you are someone who likes to plan and organize things, you might as well add this to your daily to-do list so that it stays on top of your priorities and everytime you tick it off the list, you feel a certain sense of accomplishment and satisfaction that makes you do it all over again. Reminders are an absolute blessing when it comes to these things so you must never undermine their power. Make it Fun You should also try to make your skincare routine as fun as possible so that you are more invested in it and want to actually do it. Add items to it that feel good on your skin and that you enjoy applying. You can also do your skincare routine with a friend so that you can have more fun while doing it. Skincare for tweens can be especially appealing when it is made fun and interesting so that they can easily stick to it. Consistency is the key to better results and the same principle also applies to skincare so if you truly want your skincare routine to work and generate benefits for you,, you should try to be more consistent with it and should not take it lightly either. You can use all of these tips to help you stick with it but if you still feel that you are not enjoying the process enough to continue with it, you might need to reevaluate your process and what could potentially be fundamentally wrong with the whole thing in itself.
