EdVenture Club Meadowvale Elementary* provides a quality extended day experience that complements the Parker Elementary* Twin Lakes Elementary* school day and includes enrichment activities for OTSEGO reading and math, physical education, science, art Otsego Elementary* and more for grades K-5 (also serving grade 6 at Prairie View Elementary/Middle School* Prairie View Middle School). Healthy snacks and CONVENIENT FUN ROGERS juice are provided daily. YOUTH EDVENTURE CLUB NON-SCHOOL DAYS WHAT ARE THE COVID-19 GUIDELINES AND EXPECTATIONS FOR EDVENTURE CLUB? » Health Screenings: Families are expected to pre-screen their child(ren) before drop-off for EdVenture Club. Site staff will greet you and your family at the entry door. Parents are not allowed to enter the building beyond the entry table. » Face coverings: Face coverings are required for all students at all times with the exception of when the children are outside, are exerting themselves, when face covering interferes with their ability to breathe, and when they are eating or drinking. » We will be utilizing additional spaces in the building to keep group sizes down. » Each child will be given their own supplies; no sharing of supplies. » We will be cleaning and sanitizing classrooms, desks, chairs, surfaces, supplies, playground equipment, and all areas before and after each use. » Handwashing protocols will be encouraged and required for all staff and students. » Social distancing protocols will be followed by increasing our spacing in each room, by maintaining small group sizes, and limiting mixing between groups. » Drinking fountains will not be available, but filling stations will, so students should bring a water bottle. EDVENTURE CLUB - NON-SCHOOL DAYS NON-SCHOOL DAY LOCATIONS Non-school days are offered on days that school is not in session due to time off for holidays or staff development. Fun enrichment ELK RIVER activities are offered. Students are divided by grade levels for the planned activities, including art or science topics, physical education, Meadowvale Elementary games, academic-related activities and more. Students should bring Parker Elementary a bag lunch and beverage and wear appropriate clothing for planned activities. Activities are held 9:00am-3:00pm, with the sites open Twin Lakes Elementary 6:00am-6:00pm. In the event of low or high enrollment, sites may be combined or additional sites opened. Serves grades K-5 at all sites OTSEGO and grade 6 at Prairie View Middle School. EdVenture Club-Summer is an engaging summer camp program for students who have completed Kindergarten through fifth grade by June 2021. EdVenture Club-Summer provides weekly mini-camps five days a week throughout the summer months and is conveniently located at Hassan, Lincoln, Meadowvale, Otsego, Prairie View, Rogers, Twin Lakes and Zimmerman Elementary schools. EdVenture Club-Summer features both full-time and part-time options and is available Jun 14-Sep 1, 2021. Full-time allows your child to attend our program five days a week from 6:00am to 6:00pm. Part-time allows you to plan your child’s care around your schedule where you can pick and choose which days they attend. Youth will experience fun projects, hands-on learning, a weekly field trip and recreational activities while strengthening relationships in a structured, caring environment. WHO CAN ATTEND EDVENTURE CLUB-SUMMER? Students in public or private schools, in-district or out-of-district...Everyone is welcome! Children must have completed grades K, 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 by June 2021. WHY EDVENTURE CLUB-SUMMER AND NOT DAYCARE? The benefits of EdVenture Club-Summer include sharing time with friends of the same age, new learning experiences, recreation activities, special events and use of school facilities. The program also qualifies as a tax deduction. WHY ATTEND EDVENTURE CLUB-SUMMER FULL-TIME, 5 DAYS A WEEK? Each week features a different mini-camp. Children benefit from five days a week because they experience a fuller curriculum with hands-on experiences. They also have opportunities for connecting with friends, choice time and endless opportunities with our “activity boxes.” As a bonus, when you sign up for a full week the average daily rate is less than the part-time daily rate. WHAT IS THE BENEFIT OF USING EDVENTURE CLUB-SUMMER PART-TIME? Using EdVenture Club-Summer part-time is a flexible option to meet a family’s needs and is built to fit around your schedule. You can choose 1-5 days per week and choose six hours or less per day for $25/day, or more than six hours a day for $36/day. Is your student attending summer Targeted Services or Special Ed-ESY?
