Welcome to H.O.P.E. A message from your H.O.P.E. Program Coordinator Hello HOPE Participants! I hope you are well and finding healthy ways to spend your time. I know the days seem long right now and we’re all looking forward to getting together with family and friends again! In this brochure you will find classes that were planned a few months ago. I’m remaining hopeful that the current situation we are in will change soon. As of right now I am sharing these with you with the hope that all classes will take place this summer. If they do not, you will be notified. We will follow the social distancing rules decided by our state and federal governments and modifications will be finalized by the beginning of summer. Hopefully all our HOPE classes can meet with the changes we are planning. The class or activity content will be the same, but other things might be a little different than what you are used to. Here are a few of the changes that will take place. • You will be asked to wash your hands before you enter the space we are using. I will make a sign to remind you. • Before you arrive and after you leave, someone will wipe down the tables you are using. • The room will be set up so your seats are six feet apart from one another. (We will still be able to visit and have fun together, but we will need to keep a little more of a distance between one another.) • We will not be sharing supplies like we used to. Instead I will arrange for the proper supplies to be set up for each participant before you arrive. • You will be encouraged to use hand sanitizer or to wash your hands before you leave. • Most importantly – please stay home if you are sick or not feeling well. I don’t want you putting yourself or our friends at risk of becoming sick. Your health is very important to me and credits/refunds are still going to be available as they always have been. I know change can be hard and we are experiencing many changes. It helps sometimes to be aware of things ahead of time so we can imagine what it will be like. All of the changes to the classes are to help you stay healthy! Wishing you good health and happiness! Theresa Antinozzi, H.O.P.E. Coordinator
