Free from the challenges ofALS, Doris passed away onJune 21, 2017.These are her words,I wear ten pound bootsAnd five pound gloves. And these heavy burdensHave cost me many loves. No more long walks with my dogs,Ten pound boots have turned to logs.Summer mornings working in the yard,Five pound gloves make that too hard.Training my dogs and competing in showsWith boots and gloves I can’t do those. These cruel pairs are painful things,I am thinking of trading them in for wings!Doris and Charlie rescued and raised many Beardies through the years. A true friend of the Bearded Collie community, Doris will begreatly missed.Kitty Hale, Beryl De Borba, Sandy Underhill, Nancy Otto, Carol Colavecchio, Ruth Colaveccho & the Aellen Family, Carole & Jim Des-mond, Paul & Susan Glatzer, Pam Harris, Don & Elodji Means, Sharon Prassa, Laura Price
