HERITAGE HISTORYThe Royal Connaught Boat club, 148 years old, was established in 1868 underthe name “Poona Boat Club” on the scenic banks of Mula-Mutha River locatedin the heart of Pune city.The club was renamed as “Poona Royal Connaught Club” in 1889 to honorthe Royal His Highness the Duke of Connaught, the commander-in-chief ofBombay Army. In 1928, the Club’s name was changed to “Royal ConnaughtBoat Club”.It has been home to many outstanding sports personalities and has beenproviding excellent facilities like Sailing, Boating, Rowing, Billiards, Tennis Court,Table Tennis, Card Room, Swimming Pool, Health Club and Children’s Park.Our vision is to create legacy with a passion for providing high level amenitiesthrough seamless dedication and professionalism in a comfort ambience.
