Vocabulary Bladder-hollow, muscular organ located in the anterior portion of the pelvic cavity; serves as a reservoir for urine until it can expelled from the body Urethra-tube that transports urine from the bladder to the outside of the body Urinary retention-inability to completely empty the bladder Oliguria-condition in which a scanty (very small) amount of urine is produced Urine-body’s liquid waste mainly made of water, salt, electrolytes(potassium and phosphorus), and chemicals(urea and uric acid)

Reproductive System Function: Male-facilitate conception, produce millions of sperm(gametes), and deliver sperm to female reproductive system Female-produce new life, manufacture sex cells and sex hormones, and maintain life of a newborn
