ABOUT GOA - INDIA GOA is a coastal state in western India. A former Portugese colony, this tiny state is a confluence of Indian and European heritages. This is apparent in its culture, agriculture and specially in uses of medicinal plants. The coastline of Goa has aboriginal rare species of coconuts viz. BENAULIM, CALUNGATE & NADORA. These coconuts are some of the sweetest coconuts in world. This is due to various factors like geographical location, climate and its soil which is organic and has minerals in abundance. These coconuts are grown in organic soil in and pristine non-polluted farms. SKIN BODY CARE AND FORMULATION Portuguese and French scholars, doctors and researchers travelled to Goa during the Portuguese era. Their knowledge for skin, body and health care in found in old French and Portuguese texts. They blended coconut oil with local plants and herbs. The formulations were used in the daily life of Goans, during the Portuguese Era. The infused ingredients are procured from remote tribal hills and all grown in Goa. The soil in Goa, is rich in minerals and humus, and is conducive to agriculture and coconut growth. Therefore, all coconuts and plants grown in Goa are Organic and Natural. MY OLD GOA OILS (MOGO) MOGO is derived from Konkani dialect “MOG” which means “LOVE”. “MOGO” (MY old goa Oils) is love for skin and health and “MY” is mother as per Konkani dialect. Internationally Extra Virgin Coconut Oil is treated as “Mother of all oils. MOGO is also a star seen prominently during the monsoon month of August which is considered best for plantation of coconut palms in GOA. MOGO was launched after 10 years of research in Goan coconuts and their medicinal benefits. MOGO currently supplies to clients in Italy and the USA. MOGO has won awards at the International Vibrant Goa summit' 2019 and also won the Economics Times Award '2019 for best brand' innovation and social enterprise'. It is the only company in India to be selected for world's largest Food Expo SIAL 2019 for Innovative Food Product. PROCESS AND PLANT MOGO is made in Asia's first Pharma Grade Hygiene plant. We have automated imported machinery made in SS316 and is housed in Pharma Grade Clean room (ISO 8) for better hygiene. The freshly hand plucked coconuts are processed within 48 Hrs from plucking by first press, cold pressed, multi-centrifuge method in our plant. These coconuts are purchased directly from farmers. We produce Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil Pharma Grade hygiene. The process developed by us is hygienic, combining latest technology with ethnic methods developed by combination of Portuguese legacy and British Pharma guidelines of hygiene.

MOGO has improved the socio-economic status of around 300 plus farmers. As per our company policy, we also provide education and safe drinking water for farmers. Classroom training and field training is organized regularly for these farmers for exploring organized and scientific methods of cultivation.
