So the revenge was taken with collective wit of all three animals. MORAL: WIT IS SUPERIOR TO BRUTE FORCE RE WRITING THE STORY IN DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE. THE SPARROW AND THE ELEPHANT. When the nest was slumbering under the tree , a mother pigeon saw four eggs were broken and the nest was injured. It landed near the nest and asked the pigeon “what happened? You seem injured?and the eggs?”  “Let me tell you a story of ‘The sparrow and the elephant’ ” said the nest and it started saying that, “I was built by a sparrow which used to live with me. She laid four eggs on me and I had the happiest family ever. The sparrow was waiting

for her children with her husband. All was well but, suddenly one day a wild elephant with spring fever came to our tree in a search of shade and broke the branch which I was residing in. Luckily the sparrow’s were saved and I fell down. The four eggs that were inside me fell and broke. Since then lady sparrow was in deep lament. One day i saw sparrow’s best friend woodpecker, a friend of hers offered her consolation that she would think of a way of killing the elephant. Then she went to her friend the gnat, who in turn went to the counsellor the frog for advice. The frog then advised a scheme for killing the elephant. He asked the gnat to buzz in the ears of the elephant, so that the elephant would be thrilled to listen to the music of the gnat and close its eyes. They all made a plan that the woodpecker would pluck the elephant’s eyes and the sparrow would be on the edge of a pit and would croak misleading the elephant to think that it is a

pond. One fine day when the sun was bright, the three carried out the plan and the elephant was killed when he fell flat into a pit after being blinded by the woodpecker when he closed his eyes in response to the gnat. So the revenge was taken with collective wit of all three animals.” Moral : Wit is superior to brute force.
