February 14 Daily Bible Reading: Exodus 39, 40 A Holy Heart Towards God Luke 1 Psalm 45 I Corinthians 10:31 Notes: Today is Valentine's Day (known in some circles as “Singles' Awareness Day”!). With this ___________________ special day in mind, our focus for today is a holy heart towards God. John Wesley wrote his ___________________ Christian Perfection in the 1700's. Wesley equated our love for God with our holiness. He ___________________ wrote: “I resolved to dedicate all my life to God, all my thoughts, words and actions. I came ___________________ to see that giving even all my life to God would profit me nothing unless I gave my heart, yea, ___________________ all my heart, to Him, and I determined, by His grace, to give Him all my soul, my body, my ___________________ substance. I became convinced of the absolute impossibility of being half a Christian. Other ___________________ sacrifices from us God would not, but the living sacrifice of the heart hath He chosen. Let it be ___________________ continually offered up to God in flames of holy love. Desire not to live but to praise His name. ___________________ Let your soul be filled with so entire a love to Him that you may love nothing but for His sake. ___________________ Neither think, nor speak, nor act to fulfill our own will, but the will of Him that sent us. Whether we eat, or drink, or whatsoever we do, let us do it all to the glory of God.”

February 15 Daily Bible Reading: Leviticus 1 Servants of Righteousness unto Holiness Luke 2 Romans 6:19 Psalm 46; Proverbs 1 “As ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity, Notes: even so now yield your members servants of righteousness unto holiness” (Romans 6:19). We ___________________ should yield our members “servants of righteousness unto holiness” with at least as much zeal ___________________ and passion and abandon as we yielded our members “servants of uncleanness and to iniquity” ___________________ before we were saved. We should be at least as dedicated to serving God now as we previously ___________________ were dedicated to serving sin and Satan. Just think of what God could do through us in this ___________________ world if all of His children worked as hard at reaching the lost as we worked at trying to enjoy ___________________ being lost, and if we consecrated ourselves to being holy as fervently as we gave ourselves to ___________________ trying to be happy before we came to know Christ. We could be counted with those disciples ___________________ in the Book of Acts who were accused of “turning the world upside down” for the Lord Jesus! ___________________ God did not save us so that we could continue to live in sin on our way to heaven; God saved ___________________ us to be holy unto Him. Holiness is what God desires for every one of His children. Holy lives are lives that bring honor and glory to God. The apostle Peter wrote that we are called to be holy “in all manner of conversation” (I Peter 1:15). Holiness inside produces holiness outside. Holiness inside produces holiness in our outward walk and behavior, our “conversation.” Our “conversation” (our lifestyle, our manner of living), whether it be good or bad, will be the subject of the “conversation” of the lost, and may ultimately determine whether or not they ever come to Christ to be saved.

February 16 Daily Bible Reading: Leviticus 2 Let Your Light So Shine – the Light of Holiness Luke 3 II Corinthians 7:1 Psalm 47; Proverbs 2 The world expects a higher standard from those who call themselves Christians, those Notes: who call themselves the people of God. They may not call it “holiness,” but holiness is what ___________________ they expect of us. It is amazing how many times the world seems to know more about how ___________________ Christians ought to behave and what we ought to do than many Christians seem to know! ___________________ The lost expect to see a difference between themselves and the saved, and more importantly, ___________________ they need to see a difference between themselves and the saved. Too many times they see no ___________________ difference at all. Why should there be a difference between the world and us? First, we are from ___________________ two different families. They are of their father the devil (John 8:44), and we are the children ___________________ of God. Second, we have two different spirits guiding us. They walk “according to the course ___________________ of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the ___________________ children of disobedience” (Ephesians 2:2). We “walk in the Spirit,” and “are led by the Spirit,” ___________________ the Holy Spirit of God. Third, we are in the world, but we are not to be “of the world.” We are surrounded by sin, and ungodliness, and unholiness, and wickedness, but we are not to be partakers of it nor participants in it. The apostle Paul, writing to the church at Corinth, said, “Let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God” (II Corinthians 7:1).

February 17 Daily Bible Reading: Leviticus 3 No Separation, No Holiness Luke 4 II Corinthians 6:17 Psalm 48; Proverbs 3 “Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not Notes: the unclean thing” (II Corinthians 6:17). Separation from the world and clean living are not in and ___________________ of themselves the same as holiness, but you cannot be holy without being separate from the world ___________________ and living a clean life. Every sin, whether outward or inward, whether in our conduct or in our ___________________ conscience, whether in our physical lives or spiritual lives, must be confessed and forsaken if we ___________________ would be holy. We must be cleansed by the Word of God (the result of conviction), and cleansed ___________________ by the blood (the result of confession), and then maintain our cleanness through holy living (the ___________________ result of consecration). “Perfecting holiness in the fear of God.” We are to be complete (perfect) in ___________________ holiness, ever becoming more holy as we grow in grace and are conformed into the image of Christ. ___________________ God commands and demands holiness in the lives of His children, inwardly and outwardly. Our ___________________ constant prayer should be for God to make us as perfectly holy as it is possible for a sinner saved by ___________________ grace to be. God had a greater purpose in mind for us when He saved us than merely to keep us out of the hell that we deserve. Salvation is much more than just being saved. God's primary purpose in saving us is that we might be holy as He is holy. God made man in His own image, in perfect holiness and righteousness, but when man sinned against God he forfeited that likeness and divine image. God sent His Son to redeem us from the fall of man and the penalty and consequences of that fall, to restore us to His own image, to reproduce the likeness of the Lord Jesus Christ in us.

February 18 Daily Bible Reading: Leviticus 4 Holiness is a Choice Luke 5 Psalm 78:41 Psalm 49; Proverbs 4 If we would be holy, we must allow God to perfect His holiness in our hearts and lives, just Notes: as a lost sinner must allow God to save him. No one is going to heaven nor has anyone ever ___________________ gone to heaven against his will. God has never forced anyone to be saved, and He never will. ___________________ No saved person has ever been holy nor will anyone ever be holy against his will. God has ___________________ never forced anyone to love Him and to seek with all his heart and life to be like Him, and He ___________________ never will. This is one of the only occasions where God needs our “permission” to do anything. ___________________ This is one of the only times God cannot move unless we allow Him to move. This is one of the ___________________ only times we have the power to limit God's power. We have the power to determine whether or ___________________ not we will allow God to reproduce Christ in us. We must choose to allow Him to make us holy. ___________________ Of backslidden Israel the psalmist said, “Yea, they turned back and tempted God, and limited ___________________ the Holy One of Israel” (Psalm 78:41). The only “limitations” to God using me, blessing me, ___________________ conforming me into the image of Christ, and making me holy, are the limitations and obstacles that I myself place in God's way as He seeks to make me holy. The devil himself cannot prevent me from being holy. The world and all of its influences cannot prevent me from being holy. Only I can do that. God forbid that you and I as His children should ever be guilty of placing limitations on our heavenly Father's power being manifest in our lives.

February 19 Daily Bible Reading: Leviticus 5 Holiness Means the Death of 'Me'! Luke 6 John 3:30 Psalm 50; Proverbs 5 Many of us have memorized Galatians 2:20. Many of us can freely quote it. But most of Notes: us do not know what God through the apostle Paul was really trying to communicate to us when ___________________ he said, “I am crucified with Christ.” True Christianity, true holiness, destroys in the believer ___________________ the whole concept of “me, myself and I.” The Holy Spirit of God brings the child of God to the ___________________ knowledge that this selfish “I” cannot live if God is to be glorified in my life. “I am crucified with ___________________ Christ.” Jesus Christ did not come to this earth to educate “self,” or tolerate “self,” or to polish ___________________ or improve “self.” Jesus came to bring an end to “self,” to kill “self,” to destroy “self.” John the ___________________ Baptist said concerning Christ, “He must increase, but I must decrease” (John 3:30). As we ___________________ progress in our Christian lives, as we grow in grace and in holiness, there must of necessity be ___________________ less and less of us, and more and more of Christ. “Self” must be put to death, and Christ must ___________________ be allowed to live in its place. “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I” - “I” am ___________________ crucified; “I” am dead - “but Christ liveth in me.” We can no longer live for ourselves if we are to be holy and live pleasing to God. We must live solely for His honor and glory. We can no longer have any plans but His plans, no will for our lives but His will for our lives, no desires for us but His desires. Our lives are no longer ours; they're His.

February 20 Daily Bible Reading: Leviticus 6 Who Shall Stand in His Holy Place? Luke 7 Psalm 24:3 Psalm 51; Proverbs 6 In Psalm 24:3 the psalmist asks, “Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? and who shall Notes: stand in his holy place?” The answer is given in the very next verse: “He that hath clean hands, ___________________ and a pure heart, who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully” (Psalm ___________________ 24:4). Sin and irreverence are not tolerated in His “holy place.” In order for us to be holy, as ___________________ He is holy, we cannot tolerate sin and irreverence in the place where we abide. David, the man ___________________ after God's own heart, wrote in Psalm 101:3-5, “I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I ___________________ hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me. A froward heart (a perverse, ___________________ rebellious, unrestrained heart) shall depart from me: I will not know a wicked person. Whoso ___________________ privily slandereth his neighbour, him will I cut off: him that hath an high look and a proud heart ___________________ will I not suffer.” David was saying, “I will not tolerate sin in the place where I abide.” David ___________________ was being holy, as the Lord his God is holy. When you and I can no longer tolerate sin and ___________________ irreverence in our presence, we will begin to be holy, as the Lord our God is holy.

February 21 Daily Bible Reading: Leviticus 7 Only the Holy Can Walk With God Luke 8 Hebrews 10:24 Psalm 52; Proverbs 7 George Whitefield died in 1770, having preached more than 30,000 sermons. On many Notes: occasions he preached in open air meetings to crowds of tens of thousands. He was mightily ___________________ used of God in colonial America's first Great Awakening. Much of his preaching centered ___________________ on holiness in the lives of God's children and their walk with God. One particular sermon ___________________ in which he dealt with the subject of holiness was entitled: “Walking with God,” based on ___________________ Genesis 5:24 - “And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.” Whitefield ___________________ said, “To walk with God we must be holy, for God is holy. Walking with God implies a settled ___________________ communion and fellowship with God. Enoch walked with God; he kept up and maintained a ___________________ holy, settled, habitual communion and fellowship with God. 'And he was not; for God took ___________________ him' (Genesis 5:24). Walking with God consists of a fixed, habitual bent for the will of God, ___________________ and dependence upon His power and promise. Walking with God implies making progress in ___________________ our spiritual lives, growing in grace as Christians. If you would be holy, you will associate and keep company with those who are holy. The early Christians kept up their fire and first love by continuing in fellowship with one another. Paul exhorted believers to see to it that they not forsake the assembling of themselves together, for how can one be warm alone? We are further commanded to 'provoke (one another) unto love and to good works' (Hebrews 10:24).”

February 22 Daily Bible Reading: Leviticus 8 Holy in God's House: Part I Luke 9 Exodus 12:16 Psalm 53; Proverbs 8 “And in the first day there shall be an holy convocation... no manner of work shall be Notes: done therein” (Exodus 12:16). “An holy convocation” - a holy gathering, a holy assembly. ___________________ Why was it holy? Because it was set apart, consecrated, dedicated to God. That is what our ___________________ churches and our church services ought to be - “holy convocations,” holy gatherings, holy ___________________ assemblies – set apart for God, dedicated and consecrated to Him. The feasts of the Lord were ___________________ to be “holy convocations.” God said, “Even these are my feasts” (Leviticus 23:2). They belonged ___________________ to God. He claimed them for His own. They were “holy unto the Lord.” Our church services, ___________________ our assemblies, our gatherings, are not ours; they are His! They are “holy convocations.” They ___________________ belong to Him. He claims them for His own. They are “holy unto the Lord.” We need holiness ___________________ in our churches again. Our church services need to be holy again. Church time is not our time; ___________________ it's His time! Our churches assemble by the command of God: “Not forsaking the assembling ___________________ of ourselves together as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching” (Hebrews 10:25). Our reason for gathering should be for one main purpose, a holy purpose, to worship and glorify God. “Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness” (I Chronicles 16:29). “As for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple” (Psalm 5:7).

February 23 Daily Bible Reading: Leviticus 9 Holy in God's House: Part II Luke 10 Psalm 34:3 Psalm 54; Proverbs 9 “O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together” (Psalm 34:3). “I will Notes: praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving” (Psalm 69:30). ___________________ Why do you come to church? Some people say, “I come to church to see my friends,” or “I come ___________________ to church because I have to.” “I come to church because I like the music.” Some people may not ___________________ say, but think, “I come to church to placate my guilty conscience.” “I come to church so everyone ___________________ will think I'm a good Christian.” Some even come to church for far more sinister reasons than ___________________ these, for instance, “I come to church to be judgmental, or to sow discord among the brethren.” ___________________ I know no one would ever say that, but God hears our hearts. If your answer is not, “I come to ___________________ church to worship God,” “I come to church to love God, and honor Him, to please Him,” you ___________________ are missing the whole point of coming to church. We need to get back to holiness in the house ___________________ of God. God demands holiness in His house. He has every right to demand holiness in His ___________________ house because He is worthy of the holy worship of His people, both in His house and at home in their house.

February 24 Daily Bible Reading: Leviticus 10 Holy in Our Worship Luke 11 Psalm 95:6 Psalm 55; Proverbs 10 “O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker” (Psalm Notes: 95:6). “We will go into his tabernacles: we will worship at his footstool” (Psalm 132:7). What is ___________________ worship? How are we to worship God? We are not necessarily worshiping just because we call ___________________ what we do a “worship service.” In many churches today, “worship services” involve anything ___________________ and everything except worship. Worship is not performed or conducted in ungodly, worldly ___________________ ways or in an ungodly atmosphere. Worship is a holy exercise. The psalmist said, “Worship ___________________ the Lord in the beauty of holiness” (Psalm 96:9). Worship is recognizing God's worthiness, and ___________________ recognizing that God alone is worthy to be worshiped. In Psalm 18:3 David said, “I will call ___________________ upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised.” James spoke of “that worthy name by the which ___________________ ye are called” (James 2:7). We know that “that worthy name” is the name of Jesus Christ. We ___________________ worship God, not because of what He does for us, but for Who He Is to us. Too many times we ___________________ focus on the gifts, and not on the Giver. We magnify the blessing instead of the Blesser. We glory in the answer to prayer, rather than glorying in our prayer-answering God. “O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker.” “I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised.”

February 25 Daily Bible Reading: Leviticus 11 Holy in Our Service Luke 12 Exodus 28:36 Psalm 56; Proverbs 11 “And thou shalt make a plate of pure gold, and grave upon it, like the engravings of a Notes: signet, HOLINESS UNTO THE LORD” (Exodus 28:36). This same passage of Scripture speaks ___________________ of “holy things” and “holy gifts.” Why did God call these things “holy”? What made them “holy ___________________ things” and “holy gifts”? They were chosen by God, set apart for Him, consecrated and dedicated ___________________ to Him, to be used in His service. God demands holiness in our service to Him. The apostle ___________________ Paul wrote to Titus concerning the qualifications of a pastor: “A bishop must be... holy” (Titus ___________________ 1:7,8). Bishops (pastors) certainly should be (“must be”) holy, but so also should all servants of ___________________ God be holy. God never commands us to be exceptional, or gifted, or talented, or even above ___________________ average, but He does command us to be holy in our service to Him. One commentator wrote: ___________________ “Holiness does not consist of doing uncommon things, but in doing everything with purity of ___________________ heart.” Leviticus 19:24 says the fruits of our labors “shall be holy to praise the Lord withal.” ___________________ Whatever we offer or give to the Lord, including ourselves, is to be the very best we can give – it is holy unto the Lord. We are to be holy in our service to God. Our motivation for service must be to please God, to bring honor and glory to Him, not to be seen of men, not to try to impress others or to please men.

February 26 Daily Bible Reading: Leviticus 12 Holy in Our Separation Luke 13 Numbers 6:5 Psalm 57; Proverbs 12 In the sixth chapter of the Book of Numbers we are taught that even our practice of Notes: separation is to be holy. “All the days... in the which he separateth himself unto the Lord, he ___________________ shall be holy” (Numbers 6:5). God does not command us to separate from the world to be ___________________ recognized or to be seen of men. It is not pleasing to the Lord when we spend our lives trying ___________________ to impress everyone with how holy and separated we are. The Pharisees spent their lives calling ___________________ attention to themselves and their self-righteousness and “holiness.” All they ever received from ___________________ the Lord for their efforts was condemnation and rebuke. “The scribes and Pharisees sit in Moses' ___________________ seat: All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after ___________________ their works: for they say, and do not... All their works they do for to be seen of men” (Matthew ___________________ 23:1-5). Before we find too much fault with the Pharisees, how many times have we been ___________________ guilty of “saying and not doing”? How often have we been guilty of doing what we do just “to ___________________ be seen of men,” or to be recognized, or rewarded, or noticed, or praised? How often have we pretended to be something on the outside when we were something else completely on the inside? How many times have we tried to “outwardly appear righteous (holy) unto men, but within (we were) full of hypocrisy and iniquity”? Our separation unto the Lord, like our service for the Lord, must be for the purpose of pleasing God and bringing glory to God, not to be seen of men, not to try to impress others.

February 27 Daily Bible Reading: Leviticus 13 Holy in Our Soul Winning Luke 14 I Thessalonians 1:5 Psalm 58; Proverbs 13 The power of holiness at work in the lives of Christians would have a mighty impact on the Notes: world around us. It would silence the mouths of the infidels, and attract sinners to the Saviour. ___________________ In the Book of Acts, it is common to read of thousands being saved and added to the church, and ___________________ the number of believers being multiplied as the Word of God was preached. Today we preach the ___________________ same Gospel message concerning the same salvation in Christ, yet we certainly do not see the ___________________ same results. What made the difference? The reality and the life-transforming power of the Gospel ___________________ was evident in the holy lives of those early Christians. In I Thessalonians chapter one the apostle ___________________ Paul was commending the church for their “work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope ___________________ in our Lord Jesus Christ” (I Thessalonians 1:3). He commended their testimony before the world ___________________ and before other churches and other believers. He also mentioned the reason for the existence of ___________________ such a great church in the city of Thessalonica: “For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but ___________________ also in power, and in the Holy Ghost ...” (I Thessalonians 1:5). Paul and his missionary companions were godly men. They were holy men, and that made the difference. That is what caused their ministry to be so powerful, and that is what enabled God to use them so effectively and to see such marvelous results. Justin Martyr (c. AD 100) said, “The holiness which shined in Christians' lives and the patience that triumphed over their enemies' cruelty at their deaths made me conclude that the doctrine of the gospel was truth.” Preachers stand before their hearers for a few hours a week at best, but the lives of God's people preach all week long.

February 28 Daily Bible Reading: Leviticus 14 Holiness Found in God's Presence Luke 15 Leviticus 11:44 Psalm 59; Proverbs 14 “I am the Lord your God:... and ye shall be holy; for I am holy” (Leviticus 11:44). How is Notes: this possible? How can fallen, depraved, sinful, wicked, unholy sinners be holy? The answer is, ___________________ we cannot be holy, at least, we cannot make ourselves holy. We are made holy by the power ___________________ of God's Holy Spirit as we spend much time in communion with God. If we would be holy as ___________________ God is holy, we must spend much time on “holy ground,” in the presence of our holy God. John ___________________ Welch, son-in-law of the Scottish reformer John Knox, wrote in his journal that he counted a ___________________ day “ill-spent” that he did not spend seven or eight hours in secret prayer, in secret communion ___________________ with God. When John Welch died, an old man who had known him since boyhood said, “John ___________________ Welch was a type of Christ.” What he meant was that Christ had stamped His own image on ___________________ John Welch. When had He done that? During the many years when John Welch was spending ___________________ seven or eight hours a day communing with God. Much prayer, much time alone with God, is ___________________ the great key to holiness. Each time we commune with God we catch something new of His glory and begin to reflect it in ourselves. We read this of Moses after he had spent much time alone with God: “And the Lord spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend... And it came to pass, when Moses came down from mount Sinai... that the skin of his face shone” (Exodus 33,34). Moses' face reflected the light of the glory of God, which he had absorbed during his long season of time alone in the presence of God. This is the key to holiness.

March

31 Days of Evidence For God This month we will address the evidence that God exists and still works in the world around us. First Thessalonians 5:21 says, “Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.” It is sad to say but many people do not believe in God or the Bible simply because they do not look for the evidence. It is all around us and that will be our focus this month.

March 1 Daily Bible Reading: Leviticus 15 This Is the Evidence We Can Examine Luke 16 Genesis 1:11 Psalm 60; Proverbs 15 Many people believe science has proven the earth is billions of years old, and that Notes: everything evolved. However, to make such a statement they must manipulate the evidence. In ___________________ Genesis 1:11, the Bible says, “And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding ___________________ seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and ___________________ it was so.” This is evidence that we can examine. My wife and I have a garden, and every time ___________________ we plant a tomato seed, we get tomatoes, never cucumbers or squash. It is that way with every ___________________ seed we plant, cucumbers, green beans, squash, okra, etc. We never plant a tomato seed ___________________ and get something else. For people to say that everything came from nothing means they are ___________________ calling God a liar. God was the only eyewitness, and He gave us a book explaining what He ___________________ did. There has never been one time when something produced something different. No dog ___________________ ever had kittens, no horse ever had a goat, no monkey ever had a human. I heard a friend say, ___________________ “None of my ancestors ever swung by their tails, but some of them might have swung by their necks.” God provided an Amazingly Accurate Book telling us about Himself, His creation, who we are, where our sin problem came from, and how He sent Jesus to redeem us from our sin. There really is proof that God exists!

March 2 Daily Bible Reading: Leviticus 16 The Story of Noah Luke 17 Genesis 6-9 Psalm 61; Proverbs 16 One of the most memorable stories found in the Bible is that of Noah and the Ark (Genesis Notes: 6 – 9). If there were evidence to support the story of Noah, it would strengthen our case that ___________________ God told Noah that judgment was coming. 1 Thessalonians 5:21 says, “Prove all things; hold ___________________ fast that which is good.” Is there evidence to prove that a worldwide deluge happened in Noah’s ___________________ day? There really is! There have been dozens of sightings of Noah’s Ark on the Mountains of ___________________ Ararat (Genesis 8:4) as far back in history as 275 BC. The Jewish Historian, Josephus mentions ___________________ the Ark in his writings from 50 BC and the famed explorer, Marco Polo, mentions in his writings ___________________ that the Ark was still resting on the summit of Mt. Ararat. During WWII several American ___________________ pilots saw the ark while flying over the region from 1943-1945. These are only a few of the ___________________ documented sightings of the Ark. The story of Noah is also found in various cultures around the ___________________ world including, Greek, Roman, Sumerian, Welsh, and Babylonian. Since all people around the ___________________ world would have been descendants of Noah and his sons, one would expect the story of the great flood to be in cultures across the globe. This also strengthens the case for the story being true. Other evidence is finding seashells and sharks’ teeth on top of the highest mountains and animal fossils that did not live together buried in common strata.

March 3 Daily Bible Reading: Leviticus 17 Some Believe It Is Just a Fable Luke 18 Exodus 14:24-25 Psalm 62; Proverbs 17 The Children of Israel crossing the Red Sea is one of the most amazing events in the Notes: Scriptures, but some believe it is just a fable. Although we cannot find any eyewitnesses (except ___________________ the Almighty), could there be evidence today that proves the event really happened? The Bible ___________________ states that the Lord prevented the Egyptians from attacking Israel from the rear because the ___________________ Lord’s presence in the cloud was protecting them. In Exodus 14:24 – 25 we read, “the Lord ___________________ looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled ___________________ the host of the Egyptians, And took off their chariot wheels”. There were explorations done on ___________________ the sandy floor of a portion of the Red Sea and they found some interesting articles, such as ___________________ Egyptian-style chariot wheels that looked just like the wheels as seen in the Egyptian writings. ___________________ They also found on the Red Sea floor bones that belonged to horses. A simple internet search ___________________ for ‘Chariot wheel in Red Sea’ will turn up various wheels found encrusted with coral. Various ___________________ types of wheels with four, six and eight spokes have been discovered on the floor of the Red Sea. These were the typical wheels that were used in Egypt at the time of Moses and the Red Sea Crossing. These chariot wheels reveal that the Red Sea crossing took place exactly as the Bible states.

March 4 Daily Bible Reading: Leviticus 18 We Will Always Regret Doubting God’s Word Luke 19 Genesis 1:24-28 Psalm 63; Proverbs 18 Dinosaurs are said to have become extinct millions or billions of years ago, long before Notes: man came on the scene, but there is evidence to verify that this is far from the truth. There ___________________ is evidence that supports the fact that humans and dinosaurs lived at the same time. I had ___________________ heard about an exhibit at the Creation Science Museum in Glen Rose, Texas that displayed a ___________________ dinosaur footprint on top of a human footprint. Over time the mud turned into rock, so each ___________________ footprint is easily distinguishable. We visited the museum and saw the section of rock taken ___________________ from the riverbed and took pictures. Both footprints are perfectly formed and undisturbed. ___________________ This supports the Genesis account of creation found in Genesis 1:24-28, which reveals that ___________________ the Lord created land animals, including dinosaurs, on the sixth day of creation, the same day ___________________ He created man. Job 40:15-24 describes a land-dwelling dinosaur that moveth his tail like a ___________________ cedar”. (Verse 15). Secular scientists will always discard any evidence that does not promote ___________________ their evolutionary theory, but we are simply letting the facts speak for themselves. We will always regret doubting the Word of God! It is said when these footprints were discovered, a well-known public broadcasting show sent a crew to report on the finding. However, they refused to point the camera toward the footprints. Truth in journalism is missing! A simple internet search of ‘dinosaur human footprints’ will bring up the picture.

March 5 Daily Bible Reading: Leviticus 19 Things Change Over Time Luke 20 I Timothy 6:20-21 Psalm 64; Proverbs 19 Educators and secular scientists believe that the earth is millions or billions of years old. Notes: They use this extreme amount of time to get people to trust that everything changes over time. ___________________ We agree that things change over time because my back and my knees do not work nearly as ___________________ well today as they did 30 years ago. If the Bible is true, which I believe it is, then the world is ___________________ about 6,000 years old. However, if the world were millions of years old like many scientists ___________________ claim, here are a few things that should be much older than they are. 1) Science says that ___________________ stalactites take millions of years to form, yet there is one 5 feet long under the Lincoln Memorial ___________________ built in 1923. 2) The oldest tree in the world is 5,066 years old, a Great Basin bristlecone pine ___________________ in California. 3) Earth only has about 8 inches of Topsoil, however, plant decay and erosion ___________________ create six inches about every 5,000 years - why not more? 4) Rim of Niagara Falls – at the ___________________ known erosion rate, the falls took about 5,000 years to erode from its original precipice. 5) ___________________ Recorded History is only about 5,000 years old. These things point to a young earth, not one that is millions or billions of years old. 6) The amount of dust on the moon compared to the known rate of dust that falls is another proof of a young earth.

March 6 Daily Bible Reading: Leviticus 20 The Top of the Mountain Luke 21 Exodus 19:18 Psalm 65; Proverbs 20 For centuries it has been believed that Mount Sinai was in the Sinai Peninsula. There is Notes: even a mountain in there named ‘Jabal Musa’ or the Mountain of Moses. However, there seems ___________________ to be no evidence to support this claim. Yet, when searching on the internet for Mount Sinai we ___________________ come across ‘The Real Mount Sinai’ with evidence backing it up. For instance, this mountain in ___________________ Saudi Arabia is near the Gulf of Aqaba at the north of the Red Sea. The top of the mountain ___________________ is black as if it were on fire, which seems reasonable since the presence of the Lord descended ___________________ upon it. In Exodus 19:18 we read when the Lord descended onto Mount Sinai, “And mount ___________________ Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the Lord descended upon it in fire: and the smoke ___________________ thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace”. The name of this mountain is Jabal al-Lawz. The ___________________ locals admit that this is where God gave His Laws to Moses. Other verses in Scripture describe ___________________ this event like this: Psalm 104:32 says, “he toucheth the hills, and they smoke.” Judges 5:5 ___________________ says, “The mountains melted from before the Lord, even that Sinai from before the Lord God of Israel.” This is proof that the Bible is 100% perfect and can be proven to anyone honestly looking for the truth. In the same region there is a large split rock (Exodus 17:6) and the stones around it are worn like water has worn them.

March 7 Daily Bible Reading: Leviticus 21 “All Things Were Made By Him” Luke 22 John 1:3 Psalm 66; Proverbs 21 John 1:3 tells us, “All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made Notes: that was made.” The Bible has so many things that verify that the world was created. We have ___________________ already dealt with the reproduction of living things, but what about the Trinity? In Genesis ___________________ 1:26 God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:”. Some believe that this ___________________ means God has a head, arms, and legs like we do. However, I believe that it means something ___________________ different. In that verse God the Father was not speaking to the angels, but to God the Son and ___________________ God the Holy Spirit. He said They we were going to make man in ‘Our’ image and likeness. ___________________ Since we know that God is a Trinity according to 1 John 5:7, as well as so many other passages, ___________________ we see His fingerprints in all of creation. He made man a triune being in that we have a body, ___________________ soul, and a spirit. All of creation is made up of threes. Everything is made up of three things, ___________________ 1) time, 2) space, and 3) matter. Time is made up of three things, 1) past, 2) present, 3) future. ___________________ Space is made up of three things, 1) height, 2) width, 3) depth. Matter is made up of three things, 1) solid, 2) liquid, 3) gas. God left His fingerprints on everything He created; all we must do is look for it.

March 8 Daily Bible Reading: Leviticus 22 The Lord Protects His People Luke 23 Genesis 12:3 Psalm 67; Proverbs 22 The Lord made a promise to Abram before God changed his name to Abraham. This Notes: promise is still as valid today as it was about 4,000 years ago when He said it. In Genesis ___________________ 12:3 the Lord told Abram, “I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee”. ___________________ Throughout history we see that the Lord has protected his people, Israel, even though there ___________________ have been countless efforts to destroy them. The fact that they became a nation again on May ___________________ 14, 1948 is another proof that the Bible is true. In the Jewish Telegraph newspaper on July ___________________ 18, 2014, there is a statement from a terrorist that proves that Genesis 12:3 is still valid in the ___________________ heart and mind of the Almighty. As Israel was dealing with the threat of terrorist rockets flying ___________________ through its skies, the newspaper headline reveals God’s supernatural protection on His people. ___________________ The headline comes from a statement from one of Israel’s enemies, which says, \"Their God ___________________ changes the path of our rockets in mid-air, said a terrorist,\". The enemy of Israel is admitting ___________________ that their god is not able to overcome the protection of the God of Israel. Throughout history, the God of Israel has protected them from the likes of Haman, Hitler, Stalin and other Anti- Semites. Much like we read in 1 Samuel 5:1-4, when the Ark of God was in the temple of the Philistine god, Dagon, even the image of Dagon bowed before the God of Israel. The truth is God still protects Israel!

March 9 Daily Bible Reading: Leviticus 23 Everything In the Scriptures Is True Luke 24 I John 1:1-3 Psalm 68; Proverbs 23 It is better to have eyewitnesses of an event than hearsay. Many fail to understand that Notes: the Bible is full of eyewitness testimonies, not just meaningless words like many other books. ___________________ Evolution has no eyewitnesses, however, Creation has an eyewitness, the Almighty Creator ___________________ Himself, He gave us His eyewitness testimony in His Holy Word. One of the greatest proofs that ___________________ the Bible is true, and that Jesus really did live, perform miracles, die, and rise from the dead is ___________________ found in the eyewitness testimony of His closest friends. Peter and John said in Acts 4:20, “For ___________________ we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.” They were eyewitnesses of ___________________ the Lord Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection and they wrote it down for us to read today. Peter ___________________ states in 2 Peter 1:16 that they “were eyewitnesses of his majesty.” John wrote in 1 John 1:1-3, ___________________ “we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, That ___________________ which we have seen and heard declare we unto you,” The men who walked with the Lord Jesus ___________________ for three years, testified that everything in the Scriptures are true. The most validating proof of their testimonies is that they were willing to die, which most of them did, rather than deny the Lord Jesus. A wise man told me in college years ago, “Con men do not make good martyrs.”

March 10 Daily Bible Reading: Leviticus 24 This Land Still Belongs to the Lord John 1 Genesis 12:3 Psalm 69; Proverbs 24 Here is another aspect of the Genesis 12:3 promise to Abram (Abraham) from the Lord. Notes: In August 2005, the United Nations and U. S. President George W. Bush pressured Israel to ___________________ surrender the Gaza Strip, forcibly removing residents that did not accept the compensation ___________________ offered. Many people do not understand the implications of this action. This land is not like ___________________ any other land on earth. In Exodus 3:5 we see that the Lord calls this land ‘Holy Ground’. ___________________ The Bible states dozens of times that the Lord was giving this land to Israel. In 2 Chronicles ___________________ 7:20 the Lord states, “Then will I pluck them up by the roots out of my land which I have ___________________ given them;”. This land still belongs to the Lord and Israel is His tenant. Many may call this a ___________________ coincidence, but it was on August 17 that the Jews were being forced from their homes. Then ___________________ on August 19 Tropical Depression Ten formed and headed towards the United States. This may ___________________ not have appeared too significant, but this storm became a major hurricane named Katrina, ___________________ which caused $125,000,000,000 worth of damage and killed 1,800 people in the US around Louisiana and Mississippi. This was the Lord’s response to the United States pressuring Israel to surrender land that the Lord gave to Israel. Genesis 12:3 says, “And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee”. Maybe it is just me, but I believe Hurricane Katrina would be considered a curse.

March 11 Daily Bible Reading: Leviticus 25 Some Incredible Discoveries John 2 Deuteronomy 28:1-4 Psalm 70; Proverbs 25 Before the Jews were pressured to leave Gaza in August 2005, they had developed Notes: specially designed greenhouses that produced insect-free vegetables. They had made some ___________________ incredible discoveries about what materials to use and what not to use, what chemicals they ___________________ could use, and even colors that attract insects and colors that repel them. However, once the ___________________ Palestinians took over the land and the greenhouses, they were unable to continue to reproduce ___________________ the vegetables without insects. One expelled Gaza resident who was also one of the pioneer ___________________ farmers of Gush Katif said, \"I am not at all surprised the Palestinians are failing. When they ___________________ worked in our greenhouses they needed to be monitored closely. Many didn't understand ___________________ certain things, like not using different kinds of chemicals. Plus when we were in Gaza, our ___________________ efforts were blessed by God.\" Why would the Almighty bless trespassers who worship another ___________________ god, Allah, and have taken His land from His chosen people, the Jews. Deuteronomy 28:1-4 ___________________ says, “And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day,... Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field. Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground.”

March 12 Daily Bible Reading: Leviticus 26 The Only Rational Answer John 3 Job 26:7 Psalm 71; Proverbs 26 We have all heard the term ‘Atlas’, but few know where the name came from. Atlas was Notes: a Greek god, and he was supposedly punished by Zeus. His punishment was to hold the world ___________________ in place for eternity. The name ‘Atlas’ is now associated with maps to this day. There have been ___________________ all kinds of strange ideas throughout time regarding what holds the earth in place. One even ___________________ said that the world was flat and resting on the back of a turtle. These ideas seem far-fetched, ___________________ however, that is what happens when people try to figure out what God did and how He did ___________________ it instead of reading His Word and seeing what It says. There is a statement in the Bible that ___________________ explains what the earth is resting on and the passage was written about 3,500 years ago, long ___________________ before any explorers sailed the globe. In Job 26:7 states, “He stretcheth out the north over ___________________ the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing.” It was not until the year 1475 before ___________________ an astronomer named Copernicus discovered that the earth hangs literally on nothing. The ___________________ question that comes to mind is, “How would they know in Job’s day 3,500 years ago that the earth literally hangs on nothing?” The only rational answer is that God told Job how He did it and told him what to write. Also, the reference to the ‘empty place’ in that same verse sounds like the description of the ‘black hole’ in space.

March 13 Daily Bible Reading: Leviticus 27 His Knowledge Came From the Creator John 4 Isaiah 40:22 Psalm 72; Proverbs 27 Many today know about Christopher Columbus and how he believed that the earth was Notes: round when all the popular science of the day believed the earth was flat. Not many people ___________________ ask this question, but “Where did Columbus get the idea that the earth was round and not flat?” ___________________ Did he go to a soothsayer or fortune teller? Was it a lucky guess? Columbus was confident in his ___________________ belief that the earth was round despite what science believed. He even had difficulty convincing ___________________ his crew. There is a place that Columbus was able to discover the earth was round before he ___________________ even set sail, the Word of God. All he had to do was read Isaiah 40:22, which says, “It is he ___________________ that sitteth upon the circle of the earth”, and he would have known that the earth was round. ___________________ But that brings to mind another question, “How did Isaiah know the earth was round 2,700 ___________________ years ago when they did not know that it was round in Columbus’ day just 530 ago?” Isaiah ___________________ was a prophet, not an explorer, but his knowledge came from the Creator, and he simply wrote ___________________ down what the Creator God told him to write. Columbus believed that the Bible was truly God’s Words and knew God made the earth, so he trusted the Bible more than popular science, and we should too!

March 14 Daily Bible Reading: Numbers 1 The Almighty God John 5 Isaiah 46:10 Psalm 73; Proverbs 28 Many have heard about the ‘Mark of the Beast’ but fail to realize just how close we are to Notes: seeing this passage fulfilled. Revelation 13:16-17 reads like this in the King James Bible, “And ___________________ he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their ___________________ right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, ___________________ or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” Many of the modern versions like the ___________________ NIV, NASB, NWT, HCSB, just to name a few, say that the Mark will be ‘on their right hands or on ___________________ their foreheads’. In 1998 the ‘Radio Frequency Identification Device’ (RFID) was developed, and ___________________ today they have RFID microchips that are inserted under the skin with enough storage to keep a ___________________ person’s financial history, health records, criminal records, and include GPS tracking capability. ___________________ The microchip is about the size of a grain of rice, so it easily is inserted. When the Apostle John ___________________ wrote this in about 95 A. D., there was no concept of technology or controlling the world’s ___________________ finances. The only one way that John could have known about such a time, the Almighty God told John what to write. The God of Heaven said, “I declare the end from the beginning” (Isaiah 46:10). He knows that evil humans want to control the masses and such a mandate is coming.

March 15 Daily Bible Reading: Numbers 2 Carrots John 6 Proverbs 20:12 Psalm 74; Proverbs 29 The next few studies will focus on the amazing connection between the foods we eat and Notes: the part of the body that each food benefits. When God created man, He knew that man would ___________________ need nutrition from the fruits and vegetables that He created. He also understood that people ___________________ would need to know what food would benefit which part of the body. The Lord placed signs in ___________________ the foods as to what we should eat to help certain parts of the body. For instance, carrots are ___________________ known to be beneficial to the eyes because they are high in vitamin A, a nutrient essential for ___________________ good vision. It is also amazing that when you cut a carrot, the center of the carrot looks like a ___________________ human eye. The pupil, iris and radiating lines look so much like the human eye that it almost ___________________ seems like someone is looking back at you. It is true that science reveals that carrots greatly ___________________ enhance blood flow to and function of the eyes. Proverbs 20:12 says, “The hearing ear, and the ___________________ seeing eye, the Lord hath made even both of them.” Only a Great, Wise Creator could make ___________________ a vegetable that resembles the part of the body that it will benefit. Psalm 139:14 says, “I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.” Never underestimate the wisdom of our Great Creator God.

March 16 Daily Bible Reading: Numbers 3 Tomatoes John 7 Proverbs 4:23 Psalm 75; Proverbs 30 The tomato is another food that resembles the part of the body it benefits. Though many Notes: consider it to be a vegetable, it is considered a fruit. The tomato is predominantly red, as is ___________________ the part of the body the tomato benefits most. A tomato is red and has four chambers, just ___________________ as we know the human heart has four chambers and is also red. Tomatoes are packed with ___________________ nutrients that can help you lower your risk of heart disease. Scientific research has revealed that ___________________ tomatoes are also loaded with lycopene. Lycopene is a carotenoid, which is a natural compound ___________________ found in bright red fruits and vegetables. Lycopene has many health benefits, including disease ___________________ prevention and protection. Tomatoes are considered an excellent source of vitamin C, fiber, and ___________________ vitamin K, and believed to be pure heart and blood food. Proverbs 4:23 says, “Keep thy heart ___________________ with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” Not only do the issues of life proceed out ___________________ of the heart, but truthfully, when the heart stops, so also does life. The Lord told Samuel in 1 ___________________ Samuel 16:7, “for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.” It is obvious that the Lord carefully designed the human heart, as well as the tomato to benefit man’s heart.

March 17 Daily Bible Reading: Numbers 4 Kidney Beans & Walnuts John 8 Genesis 2:9 Psalm 76; Proverbs 31 There are quite a few vegetables that resemble the part of the body that they benefit. We Notes: know the connection between these foods having a resemblance to the part of the body they help ___________________ is no coincidence. Our Great Creator gives us insight on what foods to eat to help the part of ___________________ the body they resemble. Genesis 2:9 states, “And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow ___________________ every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; “. We are going to add two of them in ___________________ this study. The first is named after the part of the body it benefits and it is also shaped the same. ___________________ We are talking about ‘kidney beans’. Kidney beans are known for their healing properties, and ___________________ they help maintain kidney function. They look exactly like human kidneys. Kidney beans also ___________________ provide these health benefits: 1) Aids Healthy Weight Management, 2) Lowers Cholesterol, 3) ___________________ Improves Blood Sugar Control, 4) Supports Beneficial Bacteria. Another food that resembles ___________________ the part of the body it benefits is the walnut. A walnut looks exactly like a little brain. It even ___________________ has a left and right hemisphere, as well as upper cerebrums and lower cerebellums. When looking at the wrinkles or folds on the nut they appear to be just like the neo-cortex. Research has revealed that walnuts help develop more than three (3) dozen neuron-transmitters for brain function.

March 18 Daily Bible Reading: Numbers 5, 6 Avocados & Celery John 9 Psalm 77 Genesis 1:31 Notes: Genesis 1:31 says, “And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very ___________________ good.” Here are some other unique similarities between foods and the parts of the body they ___________________ benefit. Avocadoes, Eggplant and Pears focus on the health and function of the womb and ___________________ cervix of the woman, and they look exactly like these organs. Research reveals that when a ___________________ woman eats a single avocado each week, it balances hormones, sheds unwanted birth weight, ___________________ and prevents cervical cancers. It is also profound that it takes exactly nine months to grow ___________________ an avocado from bloom to ripened fruit, the same length of time for a baby from conception ___________________ to birth. Avocadoes contain more than 14,000 photolytic chemical constituents of nutrition. ___________________ Grapes hang in a cluster that are shaped like a human heart. Each grape is also shaped like a ___________________ blood cell. Studies have shown that grapes are extremely helpful to heart and blood function. ___________________ Celery, Bok Choy, Rhubarb, and other similar foods look like human bones, and they specifically target bone strength. These foods help replenish the needs of the skeletal structure of the body. The connection between these foods we have studied are irrefutable evidence of a Wise, Almighty Creator Who cares so much for us that He provides hints for us even in the food He provides.

March 19 Daily Bible Reading: Numbers 7, 8 Sodom & Gomorrah John 10 Psalm 78 Genesis 19:24 Notes: In Genesis 19 we read about God’s punishment on Sodom and Gomorrah because of their ___________________ wicked, perverse lifestyle. The Lord sent two angels to remove Lot and his family from Sodom ___________________ before the city was destroyed. The angels told Lot in Genesis 19:13, “For we will destroy this ___________________ place, because the cry of them is waxen great before the face of the Lord; and the Lord hath ___________________ sent us to destroy it.” The Lord had allowed their wickedness to reach the point of no return. ___________________ There comes a point when people cross the line with God, just like Nadab and Abihu (Leviticus ___________________ 10), Korah (Numbers 16), Belshazzar (Daniel 5), and Herod (Acts 12). Genesis 19:24 tells us, ___________________ “Then the Lord rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the Lord out ___________________ of heaven”. In the Dead Sea area, where Sodom and Gomorrah were located, there have been ___________________ Sulfur balls found in this region and the sulfur measured between 93% pure sulfur to as high ___________________ as 98% pure sulfur with traces of magnesium. This mixture would produce such high heat that it can melt stainless steel. The brimstone discovered in the area is different from that found elsewhere as if was specifically designed. The pottery discovered gives evidence of exposure to heat comparable to a nuclear blast. Deuteronomy 29:23 says, “And that the whole land thereof is brimstone, and salt, and burning,... like the overthrow of Sodom, and Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboim, which the Lord overthrew in his anger, and in his wrath.”

March 20 Daily Bible Reading: Numbers 9, 10 Moon Dust John 11 Psalm 79 Genesis 20:11 Notes: In 1969, the United States sent the Apollo 11 astronauts to the moon. As they were ___________________ designing the landing module for landing on the moon, they made large duck feet for the ___________________ module. Their belief that the moon was billions of years old and with the amount of cosmic ___________________ dust that falls every year caused fear that the module would sink in the dust. In the 1950's, ___________________ a geophysicist named Hans Pettersson estimated that the amount of moon dust based on the ___________________ moon’s gravitational force, how much cosmic dust falls on the earth each year, and his belief ___________________ that the moon was 4 billion years old. He concluded that there would be at least 35 feet of ___________________ moon dust accumulated on the surface of the four-billion-year-old moon. Other scientists ___________________ agreed with Pettersson’s estimation. However, when Neil Armstrong stepped onto the moon’s ___________________ surface his footprints were less than an inch deep, proving that the moon is not billions of years ___________________ old as evolutionists claim. Exodus 20:11 states, “For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.” Exodus 31:17 says, “It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.”

March 21 Daily Bible Reading: Numbers 11, 12 ‘Spontaneous Human Combustion’ John 12 Psalm 80 Ezekiel 28:18 Notes: There is a very rare incident that happens to people and it sounds like something from ___________________ the Twilight Zone. The strange phenomenon I am referring to is called ‘Spontaneous Human ___________________ Combustion’. Spontaneous human combustion is the scientific concept of the combustion of ___________________ a living, or recently deceased human body with no obvious external source of ignition. Some ___________________ believe this to be ‘Science Fiction’, however there have been numerous people die seemingly ___________________ from this. There are reports of cases as early as 1641, but the first name I found associated with ___________________ such a death was Countess Cornelia Zangheri Bandi who died March 15, 1731. Some other ___________________ people who supposedly died from SHC are, Mary Resser (1951), John Irving Bentley (1966), ___________________ Michael Faherty (2010), and Elizabeth McLaughlin (2011). Ezekiel 28:18 describes this strange ___________________ phenomenon by stating, “Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, ___________________ by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.” The Almighty has given us a hint here in the Scripture of such an event taking place, which, though difficult to understand, gives credibility to the Word of God because there are recorded cases of this happening, even though they are rare.

March 22 Daily Bible Reading: Numbers 13, 14 Surgeon John 13 Psalm 81 Jeremiah 1:5 Notes: I was born in Church Home Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland in June 1955. I weighed 9 ___________________ pounds 13 ounces at birth, but due to a blockage in my esophagus within a couple weeks I was ___________________ under 6 pounds. I was well on my way to dying soon. The situation appeared to be hopeless, ___________________ but the Great God of Heaven heard and answered the prayers of my Christian parents, and both ___________________ sets of grandparents, who were also Christians. John 14:13 says, “And whatsoever ye shall ask ___________________ in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.” Johns Hopkins Hospital ___________________ was just a few blocks from where I was born, and the Lord worked in such a fashion that at the ___________________ same time there was a surgeon from Europe that was at Johns Hopkins to demonstrate a new ___________________ procedure he had developed to correct the very problem that I was suffering from. The Lord had ___________________ that surgeon there all the way from Europe just to save my life. Jeremiah 1:5 states, “Before I ___________________ formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.” I admit I am not a prophet to the nations, but today I am a church planting pastor and a preacher of the Gospel. This never would have happened had God not sent that surgeon “for such a time as this.”

March 23 Daily Bible Reading: Numbers 15, 16 Asking God For A Job John 14 Psalm 82 Proverbs 3:5-6 Notes: After graduating from Bible College in 2003, the Lord moved us to a small town in north ___________________ Florida to help a struggling church for about six months. Our children were grown and not ___________________ living at home, so my wife and I started looking for jobs. We were in a small town and did ___________________ not know anyone there except the few people at the small church. I got a job working with a ___________________ maintenance crew pretty quick, but my wife was not able to find work even though she had ___________________ extensive experience as a secretary and working in finance. She got tired of looking and asked ___________________ the Lord in her devotions one morning, “Lord, if you want me to have a job, I want you to have ___________________ them call me”. Remember, we were in a new town and did not know many people at all. I did ___________________ not know she prayed this either because I had already left for work. My work office called me ___________________ that same morning and asked me for my wife’s phone number because a lady attorney needed ___________________ a secretary. The Lord answered her prayer within a couple of hours. That was definitely God’s confirmation of where He wanted her to work. Proverbs 3:5 & 6 guarantees, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

March 24 Daily Bible Reading: Numbers 17, 18 Needing Confirmation John 15 Psalm 83 Jeremiah 33:3 Notes: When my wife and I moved to Missouri to work with Fairview Baptist Church in Kansas ___________________ City, Kansas to start Solid Rock Baptist Church in 2009, we were still nervous about moving to a ___________________ new area. We were about 1300 miles from where we have lived our whole lives. I was invited ___________________ to preach at a church in Holt Summit, Missouri. The pastor wanted us to present our work. ___________________ This was in August 2009, and we were going to start the church the next month. The pastor ___________________ said the Lord had pressed him to have me come. My wife and I prayed before the meeting ___________________ for the Lord to give us assurance we were following His will. On Sunday night as I preached, I ___________________ mentioned that the Lord had the pastor in Kansas call us the Friday after Labor Day the previous ___________________ year. After the message the pastor mentioned to the church that the Friday after Labor Day ___________________ their church was having their Missions Conference and he remembered asking the Lord to call ___________________ someone to the work He had for them. The pastor was thinking about his people; however, the Lord answered his prayer by calling us in Florida to the work in Missouri. We never would have known how God answered his prayer unless He brought us together. That was the reason the Lord pressed the pastor to have us come in. Jeremiah 33:3 tells us, “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.”

March 25 Daily Bible Reading: Numbers 19, 20 The Fault Line John 16 Psalm 84 Zechariah 14:4 Notes: In Zechariah 14:4, we read about the Lord Jesus coming back after He defeats the world’s ___________________ armies as they come against Jerusalem. In Zechariah 14:2 these armies are about to overtake ___________________ the holy city. However, just before the world’s armies take over the entire city the Bible tells us ___________________ in Zechariah 14:3, “Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he ___________________ fought in the day of battle.” Joshua 10:11 tells us that the Lord threw hailstones at the Amorites ___________________ and “they were more which died with hailstones than they whom the children of Israel slew with ___________________ the sword.” After the Lord defeats the world’s armies at the Battle of Armageddon, the Bible ___________________ states, “And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem ___________________ on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and ___________________ toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove ___________________ toward the north, and half of it toward the south.” What is amazing about this passage is that there have been geological studies around the Mount of Olives and there is a fault line running east to west directly under the Mount just like Zechariah 14:4 says. The prophecy was written about 520 B.C. and Zechariah knew to write about the fault line because God told him about it.

March 26 Daily Bible Reading: Numbers 21, 22 Backslidden Inmate John 17 Psalm 85 Ephesians 3:20 Notes: When preaching at a juvenile jail, we had one inmate who was in the program eight ___________________ months, been saved six months. The program was nine months long, and he was getting close ___________________ to getting out. One day he was distraught when he came in for services and told me he had ___________________ messed up. When counseling him, he told me he had cussed out some inmates, staff, and his ___________________ case manager. He did not know why he did that. I asked him what he did in his spare time. ___________________ He was reading ‘Harry Potter’. That was his problem; he needed to be reading the Bible. He ___________________ said they were going keep him longer and his mom was sick and needed him to come help her. ___________________ I told him to read his Bible, pray, and apologize to everyone he cussed out. He said it was not ___________________ going to help. I said, “So you are telling me that you have a situation that even God cannot ___________________ get you out of?” He said, “No.” I told him to do what I said, and we will both pray and see what ___________________ God will do. The next week he was not in service, so I asked one inmate where he was. He said, “He went home.” I asked, “How did that happen? He did not finish his nine months?” He said they lost his paperwork. Ephesians 3:20 says, “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us”.

March 27 Daily Bible Reading: Numbers 23, 24 America’s Decline John 18 Psalm 86 Psalm 9:17 Notes: One of the things that is evident in our country is the spiritual decline. The country was ___________________ clearly founded on the Word of God and Christianity because we can see Scripture found on ___________________ many monuments and buildings. Those who fail to believe this simply refuse to accept the ___________________ obvious and like 2 Peter 3:5 says, “they willingly are ignorant”. One of the greatest ways to ___________________ prove the Bible is true and that God is real is watching this country move from a blessed nation ___________________ that is following the Laws of God, to a cursed nation violating God’s Laws. The Bible plainly ___________________ states in Psalm 33:12, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he ___________________ hath chosen for his own inheritance.” Before America took prayer to God out of the schools ___________________ in 1963, she was the most blessed, prosperous nation in the world. Then in 1973 the country ___________________ legalized the murder of innocent babies and in 2004 same sex marriage was legalized in San ___________________ Francisco. Each of these violates the Word of the Almighty. Deuteronomy 11:26-28 reveals there are blessings when we obey the Scriptures and curses when we will not obey. The increase in crime, cost of living, political corruption, perverse lifestyles, natural disasters, mass shootings, sex trafficking, drug/alcohol addictions, and false religions all have exploded since our country turned its back on God and the Bible. Psalm 9:17 says, “The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.”

March 28 Daily Bible Reading: Numbers 25, 26 Miracles From The Six Day War John 19 Psalm 87 Genesis 12:3 Notes: In June 1967, Israel was attacked by neighboring countries Jordan, Egypt, and United Arab ___________________ Republic, known today as Syria. The war became known as the Six Day War because it only ___________________ lasted six days. We must keep in mind that God promised Abram in Genesis 12:3, “I will bless ___________________ them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee:”. This promise is still in effect today. In ___________________ the cover of darkness as the enemies of Israel were firing missiles at them, an Israeli Defense ___________________ Force truck loaded with explosives was parked next to a building in Jerusalem. Its goal was to ___________________ bring a fresh load of ammunition to the front-line outposts. The danger was great if the truck ___________________ was hit by enemy fire. The explosions from the ammo would destroy all the buildings in the ___________________ area as well as their inhabitants. Suddenly, they heard the whistling of an approaching enemy ___________________ shell. The shell scored a direct hit on the vehicle, but the Arab shell did not explode, nor did it ___________________ cause the munitions in the truck to explode. It remained perched on the top of Israeli shells in the truck. Also in the Six Day War, as two Israeli soldiers approached an Egyptian halftrack, it stopped. When they looked inside, they found 18 Egyptian soldiers with weapons in hand and they surrendered. He asked them, “Why didn’t you shoot at us?” They answered, “Our arms froze; they became paralyzed.” Isaiah 54:17 says, “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper”.

March 29 Daily Bible Reading: Numbers 27, 28 Evidence of a Creator John 20 Psalm 88 Revelation 4:11 Notes: There are some scientific questions we must address about evidence of a Creator. Our ___________________ planet is strategically placed the right distance from the sun in a perfect orbit that does not vary ___________________ at all. If the earth were farther from the sun, the planet would be frozen, and no life could ___________________ exist. Also, if the planet were closer to the sun, it would burn up with everything on it. So, we ___________________ must consider, did this happen by chance? The odds are overwhelming. Another question is ___________________ regarding the atmosphere on earth. It is made up of gases which include, 78% Nitrogen, 21% ___________________ Oxygen and 1% Argon. It is designed to sustain life as the oxygen is necessary for animals and ___________________ people, nitrogen is necessary for the plant life. And we also know that plant life is necessary ___________________ for human consumption. Did the mix of oxygen and nitrogen happen by chance? The odds ___________________ are increasing exponentially. Then we must ask about gravity. Imagine life on earth without ___________________ gravity to keep us from floating into outer space. Gravity is necessary to allow us to plant, work, eat, hunt, fish and all the things we do without thinking. Water would not stay in the oceans, lakes, or rivers without gravity. The chance of these things happening by chance are beyond the reach of a rational mind. Revelation 4:11 states, “Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.”

March 30 Daily Bible Reading: Numbers 29, 30 Jesus John 21 Psalm 89 Isaiah 46:10 Notes: Prophecy is the greatest proof to validate the Bible. The Old Testament provides many ___________________ prophecies proving Jesus is the Messiah. Psalm 22 provides several prophecies, such as, verse ___________________ 1 “Why hast thou forsaken me?” (see Mt. 27:46), verses 7-8 says He would be mocked (see Mt. ___________________ 27:29), verse 16 reveals “they pierced my hands and my feet.” (see John 20:25), and verse 18 ___________________ said the soldiers would “cast lots upon my vesture.” (see Mt. 27:35). These verses were written ___________________ 1000 years before being fulfilled. Also, Isaiah 53, written about 700 years before fulfillment, ___________________ has prophecies that the Lord Jesus fulfilled, such as verse 7, “He was oppressed, and he was ___________________ afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth” (see Luke 23:9), verse 9 says, “he made his grave with ___________________ the wicked,” (see Luke 23:32-33), “and with the rich in his death;” (see Mt. 27:57-59). Other ___________________ prophecies are Zechariah 9:9, “thy King cometh unto thee:... riding upon an ass, and upon a ___________________ colt the foal of an ass.” (see Luke 19:35-38), Zechariah 11:12, “So they weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver.” (see Mt. 26:15), Zechariah 11:13, “I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of the Lord.” (see Mt. 27:3-7). Each of these prophecies and many more were fulfilled by the Lord Jesus exactly as the Old Testament stated hundreds of years before. Isaiah 46:10, “Declaring the end from the beginning,... My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:”

March 31 Daily Bible Reading: Numbers 31, 32 Cyrus Acts 1 Psalm 90 Proverbs 21:1 Notes: God does something incredible in Isaiah 44:26-45:2. The Lord gives the name of the ruler ___________________ about 100 years before he was born. This man’s name is Cyrus, and the Lord calls him “my ___________________ shepherd” in Isaiah 44:28. This is a strange term for a pagan ruler, yet when we see how God ___________________ uses Cyrus, the title fits. The Scripture outlines things God had him do. Isaiah 44:26 says that ___________________ he will help Jerusalem to be inhabited, indicating that the city would be deserted before this, ___________________ and Cyrus would allow God’s people to return. Verse 26 also says that he will aid the rebuilding ___________________ of the cities of Judah, meaning that they had been destroyed. God would also get Cyrus to aid ___________________ in laying the foundation of the temple in Jerusalem. Isaiah wrote these verses in about 712 B. ___________________ C. and Cyrus was not born until about 612 B. C. He became the ruler “of the greatest empire ___________________ ___________________ 5in the world, (the Medo-Persian empire,) about 50 B. C..” about 150 years after the prophecy was given to Isaiah. There are some other amazing prophecies in these passages, like Isaiah 44:27 reveals “I will dry up thy rivers:”. The Medo-Persian army conquered Babylon, which was built with the Euphrates River running through the city. Cyrus had his army divert the river and walked into the city on the dry riverbed. Proverbs 21:1 says, “The king's heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.”

I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. - John 10:9
