Along the outskirts of BainbridgeIsland, where the rocky shores meet the waters of Puget Sound,

you can spend all day gazing at thebeautiful picturesque scenery of theNorthwest, all day, all night, all the time.

The day takes flight with seagullsflying high and kids waking up andscrambling eagerly to start anew.

As the day presses and progresses,the kids play and prance gleefully to the pretty day ahead of them.

The wind blowing branches from rustling trees as the kids at play brush through them slipping andsliding on the green grass under their shoes.

With all the roving, with all therunning, there is always time to sit down and explore the beauty of nature left on the ground to investigate.

Shells of clams and shells of oysterslie exposed on the ground basking as the sun shines, shimmering faint of subdued light from up above.

Running rigorously, running on thebeach to catch the nearest shadeaway from the light rain for fun, for laughs, for a game of tag and tag you’re it!

The day is almost over; the day has been everything but a slumber.

A fun day in the sun and light rain,and running, and rowing, and wading,and just plain relaxing is what kids at play do best.

There goes another day of fun and adventure;

there goes another day of learningnew creatures crawling or walking on the rocky beaches of Bainbridge Island.

The sun waves goodbye to the islands of Puget Sound. The sunwaves and says goodnight to signalthe Northwest to turn on the lights.

A little bit sad to say farewell to a beautiful day,

A little bid glad to see a starry sky in a cloudless night.

It is a good time to bring rest to the kids at play for tomorrow is yet another day. ~<>~
