APACHE WELLS ACTIVITY COMMITTEE The Activity Committee is a group of nine volunteers elected to raise funds and provide budget money to clubs and activities in Apache Wells RV Resort They also sponsor enter- tainment, special events, holiday dances like New Year’s Eve and Valentine’s Day, and community dinners. Needles Group A group of ladies who enjoy knit- ting, crocheting, embroidery, etc., while visiting with each other. The group shares ideas and assists one another, without structured les- sons. Fruit Pickers When oranges, grape- fruits, and lemons are ready to harvest, a group of men (and sometimes the ladies) will meet on Wednesday morning at 8 am to travel to different locations in the area and pick fruit trees. Volunteers are al- ways needed. 22
