Greetings Thanksgiving has passed and now on to Hanukah, Christmas and New Year’s Eve and Day. COVID has certainly started disrup$ng our lives again, hasn’t it. I have talked with a few folks since Thanksgiving Day and sure it wasn’t like normal but most s$ll had a very nice day. Reaching out to family Virtually isn’t quite the same, but it sure beats the alterna$ve. As I was chillin with Judy and Zoey (the dog) on Thanksgiving Day, this thought struck me. It was up to me to make the day the best it could be. I saw a picture of the Grand Ballroom full last year and thought about how amazing that day was. Then I thought about Thanksgiving Day 2020 and I realized that I could complain and gripe about it just wasn’t the same, or I could choose differently and give thanks for what I did have in my life, and I had plenty of $me this year to do that. That was a gi5 in and of itself, $me. It has been a long $me since I spent Thanksgiving just with one other person, okay I never have. That was such a treat, we sat and talked a li6le, watched some movies, ate dinner together and had a wonderful and amazing day. One that will stay in my memory for a long $me. Then it struck me, change is good some$mes. It is all in how we look at it. We have all heard it before, and it s$ll rings true. It is our a8tude that determines our al$tude. Fly high or low, the choice is yours. Don’t go blaming the circumstances. December is here, seems like it was March 13th just a few days ago, and I am sure more than one of you is sick and $red of COVID and the consequences of it. COVID fa$gue is a real thing, but the way out of it is in our choices. Sure, trying to stay safer has put us in a place where we are doing things we may not want to, or in some cases not doing things we want to. Tired of no hugs, wearing a mask and staying distanced from people around us, most of us certainly are. We can’t stop yet though, the disease is very real and has and will con$nue to change people’s lives. But, it is how we as a community work with it. It is how we accept the challenge of staying safer this December and through the season. It’s all in our a8tude. We can even choose to have a Holly Jolly Christmas and a Happy New Year. I am challenging all of us to decide to have the a8tude that we will make the best of whatever comes out way. To laugh in the face of adversi$es, to safely have community with each other from safe distances, to not complain, grumble or moan and groan. It is our December Challenge, to make this a December to remember. To write more Christmas cards with some meaningful words in them, you have plenty of $me, and remember you will never know how your kindness will touch someone’s heart. To decorate your abode this December to Celebrate the Holidays. Join in the Christmas Parade on December, 21st. Par$cipate or just come out and enjoy the group coming by and give them good cheer. Enjoy the Holidays that are coming, with your housemate. Be safe and of good cheer. Spread the joy around to others this December, give the gi5 of giving this season. See it’s not so bad, it’s all in your choices. Fly High I say, like Santa, it’s worked for him all these years. Happy Hanukah, Merry Christmas and a Very Welcome and Happy New Year (bye, bye 2020) DJ The last month of 2020 and what a year it has been. The good thing is sales have been holding their own even with this pandemic going on. I want to wish all of you the Happiest of Holidays this December. It is going to look and feel different but as we all know, this too shall pass. We have some great NEW homes that are ready for you to move in. We have some great incen$ves to buy this month, so give me a call at 480-924-0433 and we can set up a $me to talk about all that we have. We do take trade ins on the new homes as well as Cal-Am offers great financing for your new home purchase. Now is the $me to buy in to this great lifestyle with a brand new home. We are also offering great incen$ves for Referrals who purchase a new home. Like I said give me a call and let’s talk about what I have to offer. Happy Holidays to all of you this December and enjoy each and every day, that is one of the gi5s that we all receive, $me, Enjoy it. Shawn 3
