We can’t believe it’s March already! The weather being so nice this year compared to last has really made the regular season fly by. Please welcome Amanda Morgan as our new assistant activities director. You may know Amanda from working in the Box Office this season. We are always so happy to promote within. Congratulations Amanda! March Madness is upon us. If you’re new this year to Mesa Regal you’ll soon find out the term means more than the great college basketball championship. Here it means extra parties on the patio so you can store up all the fun before you leave for the summer and leave you yearning to return as soon as the leaves begin to fall. Please participate in Cal-Am’s annual cancer walk held at Canyon Vistas March 7 with proceeds going to cancer research. Read all about the “Crush Cancer” event elsewhere in this edition. March also brings us Theme Day. This year our celebration theme is Western Festival; Yee Haw! There will be music on the patio, music in the main parking lot, an authentic Western Town including a gun fight reenactment of the OK Corral and food trucks. Later on, the band Rhondavouz plays for a street dance also in the main parking lot. Put on your hats and boots and join us Friday, March 20 for an exhilarating day! If you’re staying with us through the summer, don’t think the fun stops. We’ll keep the fun going and make you glad you stayed. The temps will certainly rise, but the fun will not fall. We simply move the party into the comfort of air conditioning! If you haven’t signed up already, be sure to come to the activities office and get on the list to receive our weekly blog. It lists all the fun stuff Jodi has planned just for you. If there is something you would like to do specifically, please come in and talk with Jodi about it. Maybe we can all do it together! We wish you safe travels if your plans take you away from the resort this summer and we look forward to your return. If you’re staying with us we’re Gloria & Manny happy you are and we look forward to sharing some great times together this summer. Here comes March, along with our new Assistant Activities Director Amanda. Who’s ready to party, with us?! Can you believe we are almost at the end of the season? We will have Music on the Patio, Manager Happy Hours every Friday, Dances, Patio Night Dances, Country Store, Bingo, Brunch, Volunteer Luncheon, Patio Sales, EVSC, Gospel and TP Band Concerts, weekend bands at the West End and on the Patio, CAL-AM Tournaments, St. Patrick’s Day golf cart parade and party, Western Theme Day on March 20 with non-stop fun and entertainment, the Artisan Show and Quilt Show. That’s not even covering everything we have in store—come join us! Stay in the know, sign up in the Activities office to receive our blog, coffee news via email. A huge Thank You to our volunteers & work campers; we couldn’t do it without you! Please buy food event tickets in advance so we can give accurate meal counts to our Chef. Thank you all for the positive support!! Jodi Bee - Activities Director Hello everyone from your Mesa Regal Sales Team! We have had a whirlwind season. We have sold 31 homes just since Jan 1st, and we’re not done yet. If you’re thinking of selling, don’t wait to list when everyone goes home; now is the time. We will be having a Parade of Homes in Mar. Please call the Sales Office if you are interested in participating. We will be sponsoring Water Volleyball on Mar 16th. Don’t miss out on your chance to own a new home and 3 years free rent. 3 years free rent ends May 31, 2020. Check out our new homes, ready to move into, at 1491 and 1982.
