From Our Managers We are enjoying living here at Montesa with you. Your warm welcome has been overwhelming. This is the time of year when we welcome back old friends and new home owners who will soon become friends. The feeling of the community echoes small town charm not often found in larger cities these days. It’s a special place where you still know your neighbor, people smile, wave and folks actually look out for one another. A part of our communi- ty identification is our name badge. It allows us to learn each other’s name, it identifies us as community members or guests, and it allows us to cheat when we remember the face but not the name! There are many events coming up. Be sure to pick up your tick- ets online or in the Activities Office so you don’t miss out on the fun! A special thanks to all of the wonderful volunteers and workampers for helping us make Montesa a great place for eve- ryone. Your contribution is appreciated. February the Month of Love: What a Great Place Montesa is to feel the love of friends and family. It certainly makes my heart happy to see all the good that you do for each other. We are off to a great Round Up this Season. We have picked up some new wagons along the way. These wagons have been pullin in and setting up stakes here at Montesa. Make sure you reach out to get to know our new kin folk. We have a few new things this month. Specialty Dinners, H.O.R.S.E Poker, Zentangle, Michigan Rummy. Make an at- tempt to try one of the new events. You may LOVE it!! Montesa is hosting the Cal-Am Pickleball Tournament in Febru- ary. Come up and join us to see what Pickleball is all about! We have a Super Bowl Party Planned. Come cheer on your team or help others cheer on their team! There is still lots of fun to be had on this wagon train we are ridin’ this year!
