Happy Thanksgiving! . Fall is finally here Here in Arizona, that means the daytime temperatures are supposed to stay under 100 degrees and nighttime temperatures are dropping down to the 70’s or even lower. It is a welcome change! Welcome back to all who are returning for fun in the sun. We even hear rumors that some of our Canadian residents will be returning this month. How wonderful that will be! Many activities are back on the schedule with extra safety measures in place. Make sure your wardrobe of masks is ready to go. All our common areas as well as open rooms require masks to be worn and have occupancy posted at each entrance. We believe we are responsible for keeping ourselves healthy and our neighbors as safe as possible. Welcome to our Workampers for this season. Claudia is back as our Kitchen Lead and George as her trusty helper. You will also meet Derek, Melva, Mari, Ty, Dawn, Ross, Penny, Kurt, and Marlene. This group of energetic people are excited to be here helping with everything from kitchen duties, to décor, and even tables and chairs. Be sure to welcome and encourage them. It takes many hands to create all the fun Sherri has planned. Thanksgiving is a great time to slow down and count the blessings we have been given. Doug and I are certainly blessed and are thankful for the encouragement we do receive from residents. We are thankful for our employees who help make Montesa a great place to work and live. From Our Activities Director “There is Always a Reason to be Grateful” As I think of all that has transpired in the last several months. I think of the saying “There is always a reason to be grateful”. I think of you the residents of Montesa. Your goodness, the blessing it has been for me to be here at Montesa and the opportunity it has been to rub shoulders with some of the most amazing people I have ever met. I hope you know how much you are loved and appreciated. As we look forward to the coming months with the cooler weather (grateful), Holiday Season (grateful), Friends and Family (grateful), Our amazing Team working together for each of you (grateful), New Workampers that have joined us(grateful), I might add they are such great, enthusiastic group of individuals!
