You will find it’s where your friends become family! This is my husband Dave and my 9th year here and before moving here it was hard to have and keep lasting friendships. Sports Bocce Hello all bocce players. I am not sure what bocce ball competition will look like for 2020-21. Club The uncertainty of the effect of COVID-19 on our members may require us to adapt the competition in many ways. Many of our club officers will not be able to travel to Mesa Regal. Our Canadian borders are closed and I am not sure when they will open. A different type of competition other than league play may be devised. We think that doubles might be a way we can get our bocce ball fix. If members have any ideas or suggestions, please email them to: [email protected] We are also looking for volunteers to help out with our club. Bocce activities will probably start later than usual this year. We hope that you are all safe and healthy. Thanks, Jim Brock Welcome back to those returning pickleball players & a warm welcome to MR Pickle new residents. We know this year is going to look alot different than in the Ball Club past. We will be missing alot of our coordinators, volunteers and players due to Covid. For safety purposes, the board has made the decision to cancel the Steve Judy tournament which has annually been held in Dec. > At this time open play is available at your own risk. Remember to social distance both on and off the courts. In addition, Cal-Am rules require you wear a mask. Hand sanitizer will be made available by the club. We are still determining what programs will be available > If you’re playing, please register as a member. Membership is free, but we need everyone to register every year even in you jave previously. It helps determine the numbers of players, what programs are needed and how to receive the weekly newsletter and invite of special play times (i.e. 3.0 challenge, ladders, etc.) Registration forms can be found on the table on the Palo Verde deck or on line at mrpickleballclub.com. > As things change information will be sent via our weekly newsletter, posted on the bulletin board behind the Palo Verde building, the website (mrpickleballclub.com), and our Facebook page at: facebook.com/groups/696462040860449 (Mesa Regal Pickleball Friends and Players) We look forward to seeing you on the courts!
