’: My husband went off to work. I left after him. So he called me and told me that when I got to the corner I needed to look up. He told me there was a big owl up there an the pole, that there was an owl . And since owls are nocturnal so it would still be there. So I was very curious. I got to the corner and I could not really stop. I looked up and sure enough it was still there and pretty. So I went to work. I worked 1/2 Days. On the way home, traffic was not so bad, so I could get a better look, sure enough he was still there. So I went home and got my kids and a camera. We drove to a business parking lot near the pole and we parked and we walked over to have a closer look at him. We were all excited. Then my kids began to laugh-- OH!! Mom.!! He is a fake owl that they put on polls to try to keep birds off the poles. So it was before cell phones, I had to drive home to get to the phone to call my husband to tell him \" That was not a real owl\" Then I heard HAHa----- April Fools. The owl is still there and my adult kids still make fun of me when we pass that corner. 13 Anonymous
