VDO Lucky duck, nah, It’s country time here at VDO, so it’s lucky buck. We are so lucky because this month will be filled with so many activities to get you hootin’ and hollerin’! We are starting off on the 2nd with a visit from Teton Ken, his trusty mule, and stories of the Lost Dutchman. On March 11, we will have the annual Pinewood Derby in conjunction with Grandkids Day, complete with a hoedown, a western obstacle course, farm bounce house and slides, hayrides and much more. The fun doesn’t stop there, we have a trip to Lake Saguaro for a Desert Belle Cruise on March 15. Because Wyatt Earp was such a hit, Doc Holliday will be on the stage in the ballroom on the 27th. Ending the month is the Happy Trails party with .25 beer and wine. You can’t have a shindig without the viddles so head over to the box office to purchase your tickets for potato and sausage foil pack to fill your belly. Yeehaw! It is sad to think that some of you may be leaving in March so we also have added many other activities to make sure you enjoy the rest of your stay. Speaking again of .25 cent beer and wine, St. Paddy’s Day is on the 17th so we will be celebrating with green beer and good cheer. Don’t miss the Cal-Am tournaments coming up, Softball on the 6th, Pin- ewood Derby on the 11th and the Golf Tournament on the 22nd. The cowboy craft will be on March 6th. The annual Arts and Crafts Fair on the 3rd is a great way to see all of the talented VDO artists and what fun classes we have to offer. An added ex- tra is Rich Mancini will be on the patio too. We will have two drive in movies and so much more. We hope that you enjoy your stay here as much as we like having you! And Remember… Never iron a four- leaf clover, you don’t want to press your luck! Traci Anderson Activities Director As our weather heats up so does the activity in our Sales Office. March is one of our busiest months with residents buying and selling. February was a banner month as well for new home arrivals and sales. Many buyers took advantage of our financing special. Congratulations to all our new homeowners. Ask about our trade-in and trade-up details, including free rent and other promotions when you purchase a NEW home. Refer your friends to stay in one of our Discovery homes and when they buy NEW, you receive $2,500 in rent credit. If you are thinking about Selling, get listed with us for the best chance to get sold. Let us market you home and you enjoy spring. Our brokered homes inventory continues to grow weekly; stop in and see what your neighbors are selling. Remember, every Wednesday between 11am-1pm keep your eye out for our weekly open houses; new and pre-owned. Our open house Wednesday’s have been a huge success for our homeowners. Homes are still selling fast. Jackie Perry, Heidi Mercill together with, Kim Bunting, (Sales Office Administrative Assistant), and valuable seasonal workers we are here to make buying and selling your home as enjoyable as possible.
