Introduction to KIMS Welcome to KIMS Assalamu'alaikum Wr. Wb. WDear our beloved parents. elcome to Sekolah Khalifa IMS and thank you for your interest in our school. We encourage you to take the time to explore this school profile and to discover for yourself about why Khalifa IMS is recognised as one of the leading schools. KIMS is an independent co-educational, day school serving the international community of currently Tangerang Selatan, Tegal and Semarang. KIMS HISTORY 1. Early Years a. Sekolah KHALIFA IMS was established by Yayasan Insan Madani Sejahtera in 2008 to provide alternative education for Muslim Children to develop each child to his/her fullest, give sound academic preparation to be a long life learner with international benchmarks and to be Knowledgeable, interdependent, Muttaqiin and Smart. b. On February 28th, 2008, Indonesia Mandiri School (IMS) Kindergarten, located in Ruko Emerald Boulevard AA1 No. 18-19 Bintaro Jaya Sektor 9, started to open registration for the 2008 - 2009 academic year. c. On July 14th, 2008, Indonesia Mandiri School (IMS) Kindergarten started its first academic year opening two classes with a total of 9 students: Nursery A with 4 students and Nursery B with 5 students. It has grown fast since then. 2. On July 11th, 2011, four turning point events took place. a. Indonesia Mandiri School (IMS) Kindergarten was changed into KHALIFA Indonesia Mandiri School or KHALIFA IMS. b. KHALIFA IMS Primary started its first academic year with 13 students. c. 21st Century Curricula for Nursery and Kindergarten classes were launched. d. The adoption of curricula that feature Islam as the school ideology, Cambridge International Primary Programme (CIPP), 21st Century Skill Acquisitions, Specialist Subjects to balance the left and right brain, Leadership and Entrepreneurship Trainings and Multiple Intelligence Observation for Primary. We started out with first grade and from then on, a new grade would be added every year. 3. Later Developments a. On November 5th, 2012, Khalifa IMS Primary Grade 1 and 2 moved in to the new building. b. On 1st December 2014, KIMS Tegal was founded Griya mejasem baru 3,Jl Borobudur 2 no 1,RT 02 RW 18, Mejasem Barat Tegal 52181. c. On August 15th, 2017, KIMS (Khalifa Insan Madani Sejahtera Junior Secondary Grade 7 was founded on the third floor of Primary building. 4

d. On 17th July 2019, KIMS Junior Secondary moved to its new building. e. On 10th November 2020, KIMS Semarang was founded at Jalan Durian Raya No 70, Banyumanik, Semarang. f. On 20th April 2020, Khalifa IMS Kindergarten moved to a new Building. g. On 9th July 2020, we had a meeting with SMA School supervisor for SMA KIMS. 4. With this prayer in our hearts from The Holy Qur'an Surah Al Furqan (25:74): And those who say, “Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us an example for the righteous.” May KHALIFA IMS continue writing golden historical achievements in the future to contribute in Shaping the Future of Indonesia. Reading, Writing and Public Speaking Skills Goal : Guiding students to be aware that in the 21st Century the reading and writing skills are of paramount so they need to master them. Activities : Library Reading for Hobbies and Academic Reading Programmes, Literacy and Public Speaking Subjects 5. 21st Century Skills Goal : Guiding students to be aware that in the 21st Century the reading, writing and public speaking skills are of paramount so they need to master them. Activities : STEM Projects, Global Perspective Subjects and Eduversal Competitions 6. Together, everyone wins Goal : Putting the strengths in each individual in a team work makes it easier to achieve goals. Activities : End of Year Performance, Events in groups. 8

Muttaqiin 1. Aqeedah Goal : Guiding students to have firm beliefs in Allah SWT. Activities : Internalization of the beliefs in Characteristics of Allah/Sifat-sifat Allah, Asmaul Husna and Six Pillars of Faith/Rukun Iman. 2. Alqur'an: Tahsin, Tahfizh and Arabic Goal : Guiding students to use Al Qur'an as their life guidance in this world. Activities : Tilawati 5, Khotmul Qur'an, Memorization of An Nas to An Naba , Tahfizh Checkpoints, Juz 30 and 29 Certifications, Tahfizh Community, Ramadhan Camp, Kitabati. 3. Hadiths Goal : Guiding students to use Hadiths as their life guidance in this world in line with Al Qur'an. Activities : Weekly Chosen Hadiths. 4. Sholat and Its Fiqh Goal : Guiding students to feel the need of sholat to communicate with Allah SWT so that sholat becomes the helper in their daily life. Activities : Dhuha and daily dzuhur to master the movements of sholats, sholat recitations and their meanings, dzikir and do'a after sholats and their meanings and adab sholat berjamaah. 5. Moral and Characters Goal : Guiding students to be aware that eventually by following and practicing Islam fully, All Muslims will be rahmatan lil alamin. Activities : Practices of praiseworthy mindsets and attitudes/Pola pikir dan sifat terpuji, Hijrah Time in Islamic New Year Celebrations, Friday Infaq and Collective Qurban. 4. Siroh Goal : Guiding students to make Prophet Muhammad SAW as the only Role Model. Activities : Stories of the prophets and the lessons to learn, Maulid Nabi Celebrations and Idul Adha Celebrations. 10

Activities : Saman, Taekwondo, Futsal, Basketball, Dream Dress, Drawing, Juz 30 Certification, Archery, Swimming, Science Workshop, Young Dai, Pencak Silat and Coding. 3. Creativity Goal : Facilitating students to make a living with what each person likes and is talented at to the fullest.
