The internal pressure of thetransformer is adjusted during oil printing using special equipment. When the trans-former is overloaded, the volume expansion of the insulating fluid(oil) heated due tothermal effects is throttled on the boiler of the wave wall structure, which has the elasticstructure and also performs the cooling function. The oil is printed in special vacuumchambers so that the transformer can be completely filled with oil(no air). The core andcoil structure are the same as the expansion storage transformer.Advantages• Because it is closed from the atmosphere, insulating oil does not penetrate withoxygen and the insulation deterioration caused by oxidation does not exist. The life ofthe transformer in terms of insulation; And therefore the life expectancy of the trans-former is extended.• It does not require periodic maintenance in normal conditions and under usageexcept cleaning• Dimensionally reduced height as there is no expansion tank. This is an advan-tage in transformer centers where the height is a problem.

TRANSFORMERAuxiliary EquipmentHermetic Relay:It is a protective equipment that usually used in hermetic transformers. It is used in stan-dard demands at 630 kVA and above, but it can also be used for all internal type trans-formers in the direction of customer demand. It is mounted at the top of the transformer.It measures and controls 4 parameters in the tank; • Transformer upper oil temperature • Pressure that generated in the transformer • Oil level • The amount of gas that can be generated by faults and dischargesThere are 2 contacts according to the values that can be set for the temperature. it canbe used as a trip and warning. 1 contact is available depending on the values that can beset for pressure. It is used for opening. The oil level and gas formation are functionallycontrolled in the same way. Therefore, there is 1 contact for both. It is used for opening.Buchholz Relay:Buchholz relay is a type of oil and gas actuated protection relay universally used onall oil immersed transformers having rating more than 500 kVA. Buchholz relay is notprovided in relays having rating below 500 kVA from the point of view of economic con-siderations.Buchholz relay is used for the protection of transformers from the faults occurring insidethe transformer. Short circuit faults such as inter turn faults, incipient winding faults,and core faults may occur due to the impulse breakdown of the insulating oil or simplythe transformer oil. Buchholz relay will sense such faults and closes the alarm circuit.Thermometer:It is a protective device that usually mounted on the cover for measuring and controllingthe upper oil temperature of the transformer. On the thermometer there is a resettablemaxigraf that continuously displays the maximum temperature. It can be used with orwithout contact. Contact thermometers have 1 or 2 adjustable contacts (as a warningand trip).
TRANSFORMEROil Level Indicator:It is a protective equipment that used to measure and control the level of the isolationoil in the transformer. In conservator type transformer it is mounted on the side coverof the expansion tank, in hermetic type transformers it is mounted on the cover. It canbe used with or without contact. Contact thermometers have 1 or 2 adjustable contacts(as a warning and trip).Pressure Relief Valve:It is generally used in hermetic transformers. It detects sudden or wide-time pressureincreases that may occur due to oil temperature expansion or failure in the transformer,evacuates the pressure. It can be used with or without contact. Contacted Pressure reliefvalves have 1 or 2 adjustable contacts (as warning and trip).Air Dryer:It is generally used in conservator type transformer. It throws out the air that expandsand shrinks with temperature changes in the transformer oil and gets back the air again.With the silica gel dehumidifier it keeps on a large part of the humidity of the passingair. Thus reducing the possibility of moisture in the insulation oil. Silica gel must bechanged when the color is turned white. It is mounted at the uppermost point of the ex-pansion tank which is not in contact with oil.WHEELBy mounting the transformer in the lower transport case, the transport of the heavygoods is facilitated. Transformer wheels can move in only 4 directions with 90 degreesdifference. A transformer is fitted with 4 wheels.
TRANSFORMERPRODUCTION STAGESDESIGNDesigns are made with programs that we have developed in our company with our own license and experienced technical cadre. With reference tothe customer requests, our project team follows the order from the proposal stage to the order and delivery stage meticulously. Every step of designand implementation is approved by the customer. Rigorous and realistic work at the proposal stage removes the return in production or design. Ourdesign team obtains all the information about the place and conditions of work and guides the client not to make the wrong choices.COREAs a magnetic circuit element, the core is manufactured in high quality, oriented, cold rolled, low loss and insulated on both sides. According to thedesign inputs, the project is made using 0,23 - 0,27 - 0,30 mm thickness and various specifications of sheet metal. According to the technical details ofthe project, the magnetic circuit is made by cutting and arranging. The parts that carrying the windings are called leg, the parts that joining the legsfrom the top and the bottom are called yokes. The yoke part is compressed by a metal part and the vibrations are destroyed.
TRANSFORMERWINDINGSThere are two main sections in distribution transformers. These are Low Voltage (LV) windings and High Voltage (HV) windings. Since the voltageof the LV winding is low and the current is high, high-section conductors are used, it is usually wrapped for insulation purposes near the core. Sincethe voltage of the HV winding is high and the current is low, smaller-sized conductors are used, it is wound on top of the general LV coil. Conductorsare selected from electrolytic copper and aluminum materials with high conductivity and high purity. As a insulation, intensity has been increased,insulation values are too high, mechanically resistant, oil resistant and European origin insulation materials are used. Coil losses, overload loadsand cooling calculations are made, designed and according to the project, windings are made.COVER AND BOILERTransformer caps are made of high quality st-37, st-52 steel materials. According to the project, terminal outlets and protection; If the observationequipment is available the expansion tank is manufactured by mounting the mount point and lifting ears. According to the magnitude of the currentflowing through the terminals, the phase-to-phase or phase-to-neutral current loop is reinforced with antimagnetic sheet. to avoid extra heating of thecover sheet. Cover welds are made with sealing welding technique and it is shipped to assembly after the leak checks are done.The transformer boiler is made of high-quality st-37, st-52, and radiator as cooling group or wave wall sheets with elastic properties. Wave wall orradiator sheets are used as 102 mm or 1,5 mm. All equipment is assembled according to the Project. The boiler welds are made with a very specialsealing welding technique like by welding thin sheet on thick sheet. After manufactured, the penetration fluid is bored and pressure is applied to theboiler, In the dark, leakage control is done with black light and then shipped to assembly.
TRANSFORMERASSEMBLYCoils are passed to the core legs. After the core yoke piece sequence is made andthe magnetic circuit is closed, the bobbins are clamped with insulating wedges andcore yoke bars, it is fixed to resist for the calculated short-circuit forces. The core isphysically mounted on the cover with coils and the active part is formed. Accordingthe process after the active part is tested for insulation distances before or after thedrying process, the assembly steps are carried out and it is shipped to the oilingpress process.OVEN AND OIL PRESSINGAs it is known, it is very important to take the moisture for the insulation life ofthe transformer. Transformers whose active part is assembled are fired at 105-110degrees in the furnaces where the heat distribution is equal and can reach high vac-uum levels. At the beginning and end of the firing process, insulation is measuredand the firing is controlled. The transformers which are fired and boiler assembledare again subjected to oil pressing under high vacuum. Generally nematic mineraloils, that is strengthened in terms of temperature and insulation resistance, are used.In addition, herbal or nonflammable oils can also be used. The oil level settings ofthe expansion storage transformers are made, the special pressure settings of thehermetic transformers are made too and the process is terminated.
TRANSFORMERProduct Quality ControlTransformers are shipped to the next procedure, by are made either physically andelectrically measurements, in all stages of production. It is not possible to completethe process without measurement, control and approval of production quality controlpersonel. Possible problems and failures are examined and revealed at the earliestpossible stages.Tests and Measurements applied to Semi Finished Goods: • Dimension Measurements • Conversion Rates Measurements • Insulation Resistance Measurements • DC Resistance Measurements • Impermeability ControlsRoutine tests are applied and reported for all transformers that have completed the pro-duction phase. Transformers that passed all tests successfully, can get okey.PAINTThe covers and boilers are cleaned and dried with special chemicals before painting.Rustproof protection, high hold rate and durable first coat primer paint is applied.After primer paint, the boilers are subjected to drying process. 2 or 3 times specialtopcoat paint is applied on the primer paint after drying to meet customer demandpaint thickness. Top coat paint color is used as a RAL 7033.( It can change accordindto customer demand)
TRANSFORMER PRODUCTION FACILITIES Coil Winding Workshop It is the part where the custom made HV and LV winding machines are located. The coils of the transformer are wrapped in this special part. Metalworking Workshop It is the part where the cutting, bending, machining and welding of the metal parts of the transformers are made. Assembly Workshop It is the part where transformer coils, core, cover and boiler assemblies are made.
