RATC Document How to Setup Card Reader (For SOP v2 Only) September 2016 Revision 1.0 Ricoh Asia Pacific Pte Ltd - For Internal Distribution Only 1 Application This document is for Ricoh system engineers or personnel that are authorized to do the Card Reader installation on the SOP v2. Refer to the following sections for the installation and setup procedures. 2 Procedure(s) 2.1 Administrator Login (1) Go to User Tools. 2.2 Connect Card Reader to SOP Panel This installation Only work for SOP v2 Panel. (1) On the Homepage screen, press the [Printer] application. Figure 6: Homepage Screen (2) Please enter the SOP Service Mode number. For more information, please check with your Ricoh Support personnel. 2.3 How to Un-register USB Card Reader If you want to change and use another type of USB Card Reader, please make sure that you remove and un-register the previously installed and registered reader. If you are using the same kind (i.e., Same vendor id and product id), it is not necessary for this. (1) Press and select the previous reader. Figure 17 (2) Press and select the [Do not use] option. (4) Press [Proximity Card Reader Setting]. Figure 20 (5) Make sure that you do not see any records. Figure 21 Revision 1.0 Page 8 of 9
2.4 Card Login/ ICCard Registration and Login via EZCX (1) Press to go to SOP homepage. SOP Homepage EZCX Card Login Page Figure 22: EZCX User Login (2) Press (Login button on top-right of screen). The EZCX Card Login screen appears. (3) Login as User. Swipe your card across the reader. If User login is successful, EZ Charger Xpress application screen appears If your card is not registered, a dialog with the message “The IC Card is not registered. Please register it.” appears. Figure 23 Enter the correct user name and password, then click [Register]. Your card is attached the ICCard account. Swipe your card across the reader again Figure 24 (4) When you press the (EZCX application icon), If User Login is successful, the EZCX application page appears If User does not Login or Login fails, you will get an Error pop-up \"Please Login\" Revision 1.0 Page 9 of 9
