I am indebted to their efforts, and to the ongoing support In conclusion, I am immensely proud of META’s staff and of our Board of Directors. Our Directors faced the supporters for navigating these new waters with strength challenges that this past year presented head on, enabling and grace. And I am looking forward to seeing just how META to move quickly and effectively to adapt to these much we will achieve this coming year, thanks to the efforts unprecedented times. of those who have kept us more than just afloat. Thank you. One example of adaptation from this past year was META’s 3rd Annual Mental Wellness in the Workplace Conference, Sandra Leslie which took place entirely online for the first time. Once again, our guests, sponsors, and public speakers banded EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR together for the sake of fostering better minds, and better business, proving that social distancing will not stand in the way of addressing social issues. The theme for the conference this year was “Rebooting Mental Wellness”. And that theme of reviving and reinventing has certainly carried over into our other endeavours. This year saw the closure of our Marmora office. Despite closing our brick and mortar doors, we continue to support the community through virtual services. In fact, this type of remote support has allowed us to expand rural support for our clients. As they say, “when one door closes, another one opens”. And that was certainly the case with the opening of our new office location in Bancroft, which is off to a great start. We are excited to announce our new HYPE program has launched, which is Helping Youth Prepare for Employment. 4
