Community AmenitiesAqua LoungeThis full-service resident lounge is located on the first floor,with easy access to the swimming pool area. The relaxingdécor features comfortable seating and dining areas.The lounge comes with a full kitchen, complete with aconvection oven, Keurig coffee maker, wine cooler, ice makerand dishwasher. Stop by and relax with a cup of ourcomplimentary coffee, or grab a bottle of water before heading out to the pool.Pets are not permitted in the lounge, with the exception of registered service animals.Remember to keep noise down to a reasonable level, and leave the area clean for thenext resident to enjoy. Please do not remove furniture or equipment from the lounge forany reason.Bicycle StorageBikes are both great transportation and great exercise. If youown a bike, feel free to store it in one of the bicycle racks locatedon ------------------. Residents may also store their bikes inside theirapartments, but not on their balconies or patios.Residents are responsible for providing their own locks to securetheir bikes. Axis is not responsible for loss or damage to residents’personal property.Concierge ServiceYour life is hectic enough. Our concierge service will helpmake everything run more smoothly. We offer a variety ofConcierge services. CommunityAmenities Conference RoomLocated on the second floor of the amenities area, ourconference room features a conference table and chairs,as well as free Wi-Fi. The room is open 24 hours a day,on a first-come, first-served basis. The room can bebooked for meetings via the resident portal ataxisaptsindy.com.Please note that the conference room cannot be reservedmore than 30 days in advance and will only be held 30minutes past the reservation time. If your meeting is notfinished by the time another meeting is scheduled to start,you must adjourn and reschedule your meeting.Guests must obey our community’s rules. No fees, dues or donations may be chargedor solicited from meeting attendees. Please do not hand out or post any fliers, signs orbanners anywhere in the community. Finally, please make sure that the conferenceroom is clean and orderly when you leave. Controlled Access For your peace of mind, Axis has keyed access to all entry doors. A key fob was given to you when you moved in; the fob allows access to all of our building entrances and All amenities. Separate keys for your apartment and mailbox were also issued to you. If you lose your key fob, a replacement can be provided for a fee of $25. Apartment and mailbox keys can be replaced for $5 each. Your guests can contact you via the doorway control panels, which are programmed with your cell phone number. Press “6” on your phone to unlock the entry door. Dog Park & Dog Wash Located in the courtyard, our convenient dog park is the perfect place to take your furry friend when you don’t have time to go on a walk. Pets must be kept on a leash, except within the fenced in area. Please pick up after your pet; plastic bags and trash cans are provided.It’s easy to clean up your pet in our dog wash, which is first come, first served, and open24 hours a day. The dog wash is located on the first floor across from the Aqua Lounge.

Community AmenitiesFitness CenterThe two-story fitness center at Axis means no excuses – you have access to healthclub-quality equipment without ever leaving your community!You’ll find a wide selection of exercise equipment, includingtreadmills, ellipticals, stationary bikes, weight machines andfree weights.The yoga and Pilates studio is located on the second floor.Our fitness center is state of the art. Here, you can dock youriPod and listen to music while working out. Flat-screen TVsallow you to catch up on your favorite shows. You can controlthe TVs located on the first floor by using remotes throughout the fitness area.The TV in the yoga and Pilates studio is controlled by the panel leading up to thesecond floor.Cleaning materials are provided for you to wipe down the exercise equipment after use.Please do not remove the towels from the fitness center. Shirts and shoes are required;food, glass and alcoholic beverages are not permitted.The fitness center is not supervised, so be aware that youand your guests use the premises and equipment at yourown risk. To keep everyone safe, a parent or guardian mustaccompany anyoneunder the age of 18. Please rememberthat our fitness center is reserved for the use of our residentsand their guests.Axis shall not be held liable for any damages or personalinjuries sustained by residents and guest in the use of the fitness center equipment. Ifyou are unfamiliar with the equipment, please refrain from using it until you havereceived proper instruction. Residents with heart or health conditions are advised not touse the equipment without first consulting their physician.

CommunityAmenities Pool Enjoy our shimmering, resort-style pool during the warmer months! We have a few pool rules for everyone to follow. Pool hours are from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. Please be advised that the pool may be closed occasionally for your safety due to severe weather or chemical treatments beyond those that are done on a daily basis. For your enjoyment and everyone’s safety, we enforce the following guidelines. 1. We reserve the right to regulate the use of the pool. 2. A lifeguard is not provided. Swim at your own risk. 3. We are not responsible for accidents in the pool or pool area. Please become familiar with the location of the emergency phone and safety equipment 4. Don’t tamper with the gates, latches or pool fences. Please report broken gate latches to the leasing office immediately. 5. Even though Fido loves to swim, animals are prohibited in the pool area. 6. Residents in the pool area may be required to show identification. 7. Residents and guests under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. 8. A maximum of two guests per resident are permitted to use the pool at any one time. A resident must accompany guests 9. Swimmers must wear bathing suits or trunks. Cut-offs and street clothes are not permitted. Swimmers wearing attire deemed offensive by other residents may be asked to leave the pool area. 10. Diapers may not be worn in the pool. 11. Please remove barrettes, hairpins and jewelry to prevent their loss or damage to the pool equipment. 12. Food, alcoholic beverages and glass containers are not permitted in or around the pool area. 13. Bicycles, roller skates and skateboards are prohibited in the pool area. 14. Be considerate of others, and keep music volume at a level that won’t bother other people in the pool area.

Look for fliers and package notices on the community reader board by themail kiosk, information in newsletters hanging on your apartment door, emails and onsocial media.DecoratingOne of the things our residents find most attractive about Axis is the simplicity,consistency and cleanliness of how our building looks. Maintaining that look requireseveryone’s cooperation. Because of this, the community does not allow the installationof wires, aerials, radios or television antennas, satellite dishes, clothes drying ropes, orother lines on roofs, patios, balconies, windows or any part of the building or premises.Also, if you want to make interior or exterior renovations, you need to contactmanagement first.Painting is allowed, but you must obtain prior permission from the leasing office. A feewill be charged upon move-out to repaint the walls to their original color if more thanone coat is needed.WindowsThe design of our community depends on the clean, uncluttered appearance of ourwindows. To maintain this look, please don’t place foil, stickers, decals, posters orcolored blinds in window areas. Window treatments are allowed as long as they have awhite backing, creating a uniform look.Patios & BalconiesAn attractive community can’t exist without your cooperation, especially when it comesto maintaining neat and clean patios and balconies. Please keep patio and balconywalls and railings free of clothes, rugs, towels, garbage containers, boxes, appliances,TV antennas and satellite dishes, exercise equipment, and debris.If you want to install shades or decorate with furniture and plants, please check with usfirst. We can help you make sure your choices fit within the community’s guidelines andgeneral appearance.Finally, no one likes a holiday or party more than we do. However, we ask that yourholiday decorations are tasteful and that they are put away within one week after theholiday. Your neighbors will appreciate it.Bicycles & MotorcyclesIf you own a bicycle, it can be stored either in your apartment or in the bicycle racks.Motorcycle parking is available in the parking garage. By order of the fire marshal,residents may not store motorcycles or other motor-driven vehicles inside theirapartment homes, on their patios or on sidewalks.

Community GuidelinesFair HousingAt Axis, we are committed to the principles of the Fair Housing Act. We do notdiscriminate in the leasing and management of our community on the basis of sex, age,marital status, race, creed, ancestry, color, religion, national origin, gender, handicap,sexual orientation or familiar status.These principles are guaranteed by law, meaning that we cannot and do not providedifferent adult and family sections of the apartment community, nor o we create one setof rules for certain residents and another set of rules for others.We promise to provide all residents and guests with the same courteous treatment andapplication of company and community guidelines.To assure a quality lifestyle for all residents, we have established occupancy guidelinesfor the maximum number of persons who can occupy each floor plan type: two perbedroom. If you experience a change in family size that places your family outside theguidelines, please contact the leasing office to assist you with the transition. While wemust equally administer our occupancy policy, we accommodate residents whoexperience a change in family size with an optional renewal lease term of six monthsbefore enforcing a mandatory transfer to a larger floor plan.Freight ElevatorOur freight elevator and loading dock can be used by residents during move-in andmove-out and in order to move large furniture at other times. Carts are available uponrequest. Please contact the leasing office at (---) ---------- for more information.Grounds & BreezewaysAt Axis, we strive to keep the grounds and public areas clean, neat and attractive foreveryone to enjoy. Some basic guidelines to help our community stay beautiful are: Please pick up after yourself and your guests Please make sure your garbage goes from your apartment to the community trash compactor and doesn’t spend time loitering outside your door or in trash chute areas. Please clear personal belongings from outside your front door. Please show respect for landscaped areas, shrubbery and trees. We work hard to keep the grounds looking great and appreciate your help in keeping them that way.

CommunityGuidelines Lockouts, Keys & Locks Who hasn’t found themselves locked out of their apartment? Don’t panic, we’re here to help. Simply call the leasing office at (---)--------. During leasing hours, we do not charge for this service. However, for after-hours lockout service, you will be charged a $25 fee for each occurrence, due at the time of service. You must show ID to theperson responding to the call, so we can be sure you’re the resident of the apartment. If you have a minor living with you, please provide us with written permission to authorize entry and release of a key in your absence. If you need a lock changed, let us know. Apartment door locks can be changed during leasing office hours and after hours; a fee of $50 is charged, due at the time of service. Mailbox locks must be replaced by the ------- Post Office; call (---)---------. We can replace lost entryway door key fobs for $25 each; lost apartment door and mailbox keys can be replaced for $5 each. Mail & Packages The mail kiosk is on the first floor, next to the leasing office. To keep things neat and clean, please put any unwanted mail in the recycling bin or in a trash can, rather than leaving it around the mailbox area. If you receive mail addressed to a previous occupant, another resident or someone unknown, please contact the leasing office. Packages have a way of arriving when you’re not home. To help out, we will be happy to accept parcels delivered by UPS, FedEx or other delivery services on your behalf. If you would like to take advantage of this service, we need a signed authorization, and, for your protection, we request a photo ID before releasing the package to anyone. Unfortunately, we can’t accept packages that are c.o.d., perishable, oversized (larger than 2 feet in any dimension),or multiple packages that, if stacked, would be oversized.Please pick up packages within 48 hours. All deliveries and parcels must be addressed to your apartment. For security reasons, deliveries and parcels that are addressed to the office or that have insufficient addresses cannot be accepted. Packages delivered by the post office are left in the mail kiosk parcel lockers; if they do not fit there, the packages are brought to the leasing office. Outgoing packages can be mailed at the post office or through a package mailing service. The closest post office to Axis is the -------------- at ----------------. Phone # & hours.

Community GuidelinesNoise PolicyNoise can be a nuisance. At Axis, we ask that all of our residents be condiserate oftheir neighbors when entertaining, using their televisions or stereos, or operatingappliances and vaccumm cleaners late at night. If you reside in an apartment locatedupstairs, please avoid running, jumping or slamming doors – remember there are otherresidents downstairs.Community quiet hours are from --- p.m. to ----a.m.PetsAt Axis, we welcome pets in your apartment home. We charge a nonrefundable depositof $--- per pet. A pet rent will be charge per month at $-- per pet. There are also a fewbasic rules for pets:  No more than two pets per apartment are allowed, with a combined maximum weight limit of ----lbs. Pets must be neutered or spayed.  We do not allow the following breeds: -------------------------  For safety purposes, dogs must be leashed and under your control at all times when outside of your apartment home. You must also clean up after your pet. Pet stations and trash cans have been provided for your use.  Cats must be declawed. They must also remain in your apartment, or be leashed or in a carrier when outside your apartment home.  An aquarium is allowed but it can not hold more than 50 gallons of water. We also require you to carry insurance for the tank. Please contact the Leasing Office for information on insurance required.  At Axis, we cannot allow any birds, reptiles or wild, exotic, endangered or poisonous animals.  For the community’s rules about other types of pets, please contact the Leasing Office.PlayTo prevent injuries to our residents and guests, pleas observe the following rules.  We ask that children under the age of 14 be accompanied by an adult.  Leaseholders will be held liable for the behavior of their household members and guests.  Residents of all ages are prohibited from playing in the building hallways, on stairs, in parking areas, in the trash compactor and chute areas, or in any potentially dangerous locations.  Please do not mark, write or paint on buildings, walls, sidewalks or landscaped areas.  All residents should use caution when driving throughout the community.

CommunityGuidelinesSolicitorsDoor-to-door solicitation is not allowed at Axis. If a solicitor makes it to your door,please refer him or her to the Leasing Office and we will take care of it.TrashFor your convenience, ---- trash chutes are provided on every floor. For residents onthe first floor, take your trash directly to the trash bin on that floor. All trash must beplaced in plastic garbage bags and all recycling must be placed in blue plastic bags. Iftrash is too big to fit in a plastic trash bag then it’s too big to go down the trash chutes.Do not send furniture or any other large items down the trash chutes. Do not sendcardboard, liquids or glass containers down the chutes; do not leave bags sitting in thetrash chute areas or outside the apartment home.

Community GuidelinesSecurityIn today’s society, no one can guarantee personal safety. Your safety, and that of yourfamily and guests, is up to you. We encourage you to always be aware of yoursurroundings and to follow the guidelines listed:At home:  Lock all doors and windows. Use the dead bolt or night latch.  Never answer your door, unless you know who is there. Use the peephole or window to confirm who is on the other side.  Close your curtains and blinds at night.  Be cautious. Don’t lend your keys to anyone. If you lose a key, contact the Leasing Office to have the locks changed.  Periodically check your smoke detector for dead batteries. This simple task could save your life and the lives of others.  If you have broken locks, latches, doors, windows or smoke detectors, contact the Leasing Office immediately with a maintenance request.  Keep emergency telephone numbers (Police, Fire and Emergency Medical) near the telephone, or have it programed in your mobile device.  For identification purposes, mark or engrave valuable personal possessions.When you are away from your apartment:  Close and lock all doors, and remember to use close and lock all windows, sliding patio or balcony doors.  If you notice any malfunctioning gate locks, report them immediately. Also, report dark stairwells and parking areas.  Don’t hide your front door key under the doormat.  Don’t give entry codes to anyone.  Purchase a lamp timer, and set it to turn on your lights at dusk.  Stop newspaper delivery while you’re away.  Let the office and trusted neighbors know when you are going to be gone for an extended period of time. Neither party can assume responsibility but, if a problem occurs, their increased awareness may assist in crime or disaster prevention.When driving and parking your car:  Lock your car doors, and never walk away from your parked car until the doors are locked and the windows are completely rolled up.  Don’t leave your keys in your car.  Don’t leave valuables in your car.

CommunityGuidelinesSecurity Continued  Approach the car with your keys in hand; avoid fumbling through pockets and bags for keys.  Check the backseat before you get into the carPersonal Security Systems & DevicesUnfortunately a fail-safe system or device does not exist. Alarm systems, access gates,courtesy patrols and patrol cars are not a guarantee against crime. All are subject topersonnel absenteeism, human error, mechanical malfunctions and tampering.In the end, your safety is your business, and we urge you to plan and take action as ifsafety systems and devices didn’t exist. Don’t depend on outside systems for security.The best measure you can take are the common-sense ones you carry out yourself.Weapons & FirearmsCarrying, displaying or discharging fireworks, slingshots, guns or any type of firearm orweapon at Axis is strictly prohibited.Violations of this policy by any resident, occupant or guest will result in theimmediate termination of the lease contract.
