SIGN ME UP! USU.EDU/HOUSING/SIGNUP SIGN-UP PROCESS Once you are admitted to USU, you will use your Student ID (A#) and password to log into the housing website and submit your sign up.The sign up process will vary slightly depending on the time of year. The online sign up process includes signing the academic year housing contract and paying $250 ($50 non-refundable fee and $200 security/reservation deposit).This guarantees you a space on campus! Refer to the chart above for specific dates on when you will select your building and room, and watch for email reminders. THINGS TO REMEMBER SIGN UP EARLY Housing buildings are filled on a first come, first served basis.The sooner you sign up, the more likely you are to secure a spot in your preferred residence hall. ROOM WITH A FRIEND If you have a friend(s) you’d like to room with, sign up at the same time.The date and time you’ll be choosing your building/room is based on the date you complete your housing sign up. SAVE THE DATE If plans change, you may cancel your contract by May 1st to receive a full refund of your $200 security deposit. After May 1st, the housing contract specifies conditions for cancelling. 39
