Albert 247 Einstein Medicina Abramed Members Diagnóstica In 2019, Einstein inaugurated the Technical Operational Nucleus (NTO). The automation conveyor belt is a unique structure of its kind in the world, as it in- tegrates the biochemistry, immunology, hematology, coagulation, and molecu- lar biology laboratories. In the area of pathological anatomy, Einstein has made partnerships to process the tests of four hospitals in Rio de Janeiro and two in São Paulo (SP). A new sequencer has expanded the exams processing capacity of the ge- nomics laboratory by five times. In the clinical research field, Einstein has started to carry out, through the SUS Institutional Development Support Program (PROADI-SUS) with the Ministry of Health, the sequencing of the complete ge- nome. In 2020, 850 samples will be carried out. In a pioneering way, the Viroma/Metagenome test is being implemented, which improves the diagnosis of clinical conditions of undetermined origin, mainly new epidemics of unknown viruses. In partnership with the Government of Pernambuco and with facilities in Re- cife, Einstein began histocompatibility testing (HLA) for the solid organ and bone marrow transplant programme in September 2019.

The company is one of the largest diagnostic medicine companies in Bra- zil, recognized as Top of Mind in states such as Espírito Santo and Bahia. In addition, the company is growing in clinical analysis, reporting record share – 24% of revenue – and has signed a commercial exclusivity agreement with Israeli Medic Vision for the use of the IQMR product, which will allow for 20 to 40% faster MRI tests throughout Latin America. Among other outstanding features of the company are: the pioneering of the drive-thru method for Covid-19 tests, representing 93% of the new coro- navirus exams; the Alliar at Home Service, which generates higher monthly billing than the main physical unit; the iDr – exams performed remotely – doubling the number of contracts signed in comparison to last year, now representing 1.5% of revenue; and Machine Learning with significant produc- tivity gains in exams.
