Our Personality in the lens of Johari’s Window The group decided to make a google form to gather data, such as characteristics of different members from their own point of view, and characteristics of their own inner self, as we are instructed to indicate our members’ unique and common characteristics using the given characteristics in the modules.

The Johari’s Window has four windows, Open self; information about you that everyone including you are well known, it may be the attitude, behaviors, skills, etc. Blind self (blind spot); information about you that others may know, but you, yourself don’t know. Hidden (facade); these are the information about yourself that only you, in particular, are aware of due to various reasons such as personal information. Lastly, the Unknown areas; information that everyone doesn’t know including you; capabilities, talents, etc. These may not be discovered yet or maybe unknown for the rest of life due to other reasons such as traumatic experiences.

Hopefully, following this activity, the group will have a better understanding of all of these aforementioned meanings. Using Johari's method, the group formally introduces its own introspection (the examination or observation of one's own mental and emotional processes).

SSuummmmaarriizzaattiioonn Indicate your members and some common features you have as a group which may characterize your uniqueness So, as a collective, who are we really? What are the defining characteristics of our Johari’s window? This now obliterates the actuality of individual differences and begins to portray the group as a whole. We have discovered that we are a very determined group. Many of us work really hard at whatever we do. Every assignment or assessment that is put in front of us is completed with patience and effort. Having acknowledged that, the group is also extremely committed. We strive to keep our minds fixated on what we grip onto right from the beginning. We do not easily give up. Furthermore, We could also see how joyful the group was at the time. This adds to the group's uniqueness because not everyone can find joy under these circumstances, but the group has stayed steady and continues to see the silver lining today. Because they don't follow precise formulas, these qualities distinguish the group. We simply attempt to be honest about how we feel about ourselves, others, and the unknown stored for us.

With that, as we strive for our personal development, being able to know and understand what other people think about us as a person is essential. We may question ourselves: are we unique? Or just like others. As time goes by, as people get to know us, it is somehow scary as we still thrive to have the confidence that society has taken away from us; society standard it is. As our group said, the distinctive characteristics of each member will somehow boost our confidence or make us better and realize things in ourselves if that’s the case. Being able to hear other people's opinions about you while knowing who you are as a person, even in the midst of adversity, being able to thrive and see the silver lining in a situation will have a significant impact on your personality development.

devoloping oneself Our route to personal development, according to the philosopher Diogenes, includes questioning everything about the status quo and leading a life free of the constraints that others may have imposed on us and tried to force us to adhere to. As a result, we can see how significant the Johari Window is in terms of getting to know ourselves better and laying the groundwork for getting to know others better. We would be more conscious of our current circumstances in life if we continued to probe each quadrant of the window. We shall be awakened to the possibilities of learning new things as a result of each individual's distinction.

devoloping oneself Although the distinction is the word, this activity also teaches us that the things that are imposed on us, together with the simple notion of ourselves, will balance the equation in determining who we are and who they are. Furthermore, the group discovered that using this approach is an excellent way to develop self-awareness, relationship management, self-confidence, and collaboration—all of which are important as we seek to understand others.
