Dogsledding and snow mobiles are also available, together with ice fishing, ice climbing!and (very late in the season) heli-skiing is possible.!Superb restaurant on site, using many locally caught and produced ingredients.

But first, attendthe talk ‘How to survive at -5’. If you want to know in advance give us a call, we’ve!been there and done it!!A wide selection of activities are available directly from IceHotel - including dog sleds,!snow mobiles, cross-country skiing and ice driving.!!There are two restaurants on-site - the IceHotel Restaurant and the Old Homestead.!No trip to IceHotel would be complete without partaking in a warming glass of!something in the IceBar, a fabulous feature of the hotel.!In addition to the IceHotel’s Northern Lights Suites and Art Suites, there are also!‘warm accommodation’ cabins for those wishing to stay for more than one night.!Many of our tours staying in Abisko or Kiruna include time at the IceHotel and a passso that you can go and investigate the spectacular ice sculptures that make up the ArtSuites - this is an annual art gallery as much as it is an hotel.

ttaráhkká Northern Lights Lodge, Kiruna!A fabulous small lodge on the outskirts of Kiruna, Máttaráhkká Lodge is away fromany light pollution and faces the Abisko alps, one of the best places in the world for!northern lights hunting. It offers you a very warm, cosy and peaceful place to stay.!The Lodge has seven double rooms, each with a loft and en-suite bathroom. An openplan lounge with fireplace and comfortable chairs provides the perfect antidote to aday exploring the region. All meals are served in a dining room next to the loungewhere at breakfast you can enjoy the panoramic view over the snow-covered!mountains.!There is a relaxation area with a sauna where you can book an evening inthe Northern Light hot tub situated on the Lodge roof with an excellent view over thenight sky.
