Barreiro and Setúbal Peninsula 3 DAYS PROGRAMME

Means of transport Barreiro offers a great variety of means of transport. The train to visit Setúbal in The coach to go a 20 minutes journey. sightseeing all over Barreiro. The ship to go to Lisbon in a 20 minutes journey.

Geographic location This map shows us the main villages in Barreiro Council and Setúbal Peninsula. The colours will help the visitors to find out whta they want to see.

A brief discription of Barreiro and Setúbal Peninsula Barreiro : it is a city that belongs to the Setúbal precinct. It has 63 363 inhabitantes. It is a municipality with 36,39 km² and 78 764 inhabitants, spread through 4 villages. Peninsula of Setúbal: Setúbal Peninsula also known as The South bank of River, it is the metropolitian area of Lisbon

Barreiro Places to Visit Alburrica Beach Alburrica is a river beach, located in Barreiro.Alburrica consists of a small Peninsula that connects the Tagus and the Coina river. It is an important river area, in addition with Clube Naval and the fishmongers beach. While enjoying a good sunbathing, you can also fish and see the ships sailing back and forth from lisbon.

Barreiro Places to Visit City Park . The Park is a privileged space for leisure and sports. Moscatel de Setúbal  Moscatel de Setúbal is a Portuguese Denomination of Controlled Origin (DOC) known for the generous wines produced from moscatel varieties in the demarcated origin in Azeitão. The region, which enjoys a mixed, sub-tropical and Mediterranean climate, influenced by the proximity of the sea and the Tagus and Sado rivers, was demarcated in 1907/1908.
