At over 828 meters tall and more than 160 stories it is a vertical city that can accommodate 100,000 people at any given time. Case study – Missed Value ADEO Uncovers Over £2,000,000 of Missed Value 16 We were commissioned by our client to provide day to day Quantity Surveying and commercial construction support on one of their Framework projects. Whilst working with the team to check and assess the project detail, our Quantity Surveyor discovered that the initial two years work on the project had been significantly undervalued which was responsible for creating a large forecasted loss for our client. ADEO were instrumental in the identification, remeasuring and re-valuation of the project, uncovering over £2,000,000 of missed value for our client. The results of our work alongside a rationale of their costs more than negated their initial forecasted loss. Case study – Dispute Negotiation ADEO Handles Dispute Negotiation on the Jubilee Line When contractors are working on large, complex projects there are multiple points where disputes may occur. Resolving these successfully sometimes needs external support to reach an agreement and prevent costly litigation. ADEO were commissioned and appointed by the Employer as one of 6 key negotiators for a project involving a JV contractor working on the Jubilee Line. The contractor’s claims had escalated over time and were leading to multiple high value claims and disputes. Our team worked with all parties to facilitate an expedited review, thoroughly assessing the contractors claims in order to seek a resolution.
