“EDUCATION IS NOT THE FILLING OF A PAIL BUT THE LIGHTING OF A FIRE.” WILLIAM BUTLER YEATS

FROM THE LEADERSHIP MESSAGE FROM THE REGISTRAR DR. ANIL JOSEPH PINTO CHRIST has been at the forefront of reshaping pedagogical practices even before the comprehensive implementation of the National Education Policy 2020. The University firmly upholds its five core values: Faith in God, Moral Uprightness, Love for Fellow Beings, Social Responsibility, and Pursuit of Excellence. The Christites, in turn, have demonstrated impeccable determi- nation and unwavering dedication towards their goals through- out the year. I am truly elated to witness their remarkable re- silience in navigating the ever-changing tides of time. This commendable achievement would not have been possible without the remarkable enthusiasm and exemplary leadership exhibited by the management, as well as the indomitable spirit displayed by our students, faculty and staff. It brings great joy to witness the remarkable achievements of the Christites across various dimensions of their lives, be it professional pur- suits, academic endeavors, or co-curricular engagements. Each academic year presents challenges and opportunities for all stakeholders within the University. While the previous year witnessed the return of all academicians to in-person classes, the current year has seen us firmly establish ourselves in the new paradigm, navigating the delicate balance between well- established practices of the past and the invaluable lessons garnered from recent experiences. At CHRIST, we collectively adapt and demonstrate our unwavering commitment. I believe, CHRIST consistently provides a platform for individu- als to cultivate discipline in their lives while exploring new av- enues of growth. As aptly stated by the former American pres- ident, Dwight D. Eisenhower, \"Change based on principle is progress; constant change without principles becomes chaos.\" This quote has been ingrained in our minds as we take each small step towards the holistic development of our students strategically. The education system is evolving for the better, and it is imperative for each one of us to lead ourselves and those around us in maximizing its potential. I am confident that CHRIST (Deemed to be University) will its tryst with excellence in meaningful higher education.
