Model MKnife Gate ValveThe Arnett Model M Knife Gate Valve is engineered to last in any abrasive orcorrosive environment. The Model M comes equipped with a heavy dutystainless steel, chrome-plated gate that can handle bi-directional flow, sealed byour bubble-tight and removable Formula 1 urethane valve seats. Model XKnife Gate ValveThe Arnett Model X Knife Gate Valve, like our flagship Model M valve, isengineered for use in heavily abrasive and corrosive industrial applications. TheModel X valve features a wide body design, allowing for implementation intosystems where wider face to face sizing is needed. Each Model X valve canhandle bi-directional flow and comes equipped with our standard heavy dutystainless steel, chrome-plated gate. Our customizable Formula 1 urethane valveseats ensure a bubble-tight seal. Custom Applications:Valve Seats & SealsAll Arnett valves are designed to be fully customizable to fit the needs of anyabrasive or corrosive slurry systems. To increase the lifespan of your valves, ourengineers can swap out our standard Formula 1 valve seats with a speciallyformulated material to fit your specific application. Formulations are created byanalyzing the following variables in your system:• Temperature • Acidity • Chemical/slurry composition• pH • Particle Size Additional Valve Seat & Seal Materials Available Some applications may be better suited with elastomer-type materials. Custom ApplicationsKnife GatesAll Arnett valves are built with a 316 Stainless Steel, hard-chrome plated knifegate. Our standard 316 Stainless Steel gates provide high durability andperformance in the majority of slurry applications.Our valve gates can also be custom-built into your Arnett valve with thefollowing materials from our Arnett Foundry:• Alloy T276 Hastelloy• A2205• 317L• Alloy 20For a more detailed description of our custom Foundry parts, visit our WearParts page at arnett.com/wear-parts Note: Before moving into production, all custom formulations are rigorously tested in our laboratory by method of elasticity testing, tearproof testing, and then put through our 16 point checklist. Warranty / Repair GuaranteeAll Arnett brand products are guaranteed to be manufactured to the highest standards in the industry. We alsoguarantee that all new products and parts manufactured by Arnett shall be free from defects in material andworkmanship one (1) year from the date of shipment to the buyer.Additional Warranty Terms:-Repaired Parts - All parts, products or subassemblies of products repaired by arnett shall be free from defects inmaterial and workmanship six (6_) months from the date of shipment to the buyer.-Replacement Policy - Any Product, part, repaired part, or refurbished product or subassembly which becomesdefective during the warranty period shall be replaced free of charge provided that:1. Written notice of the defect is given by the buyer as soon as the defect is discovered.2. The product is operated in accordance with the conditions which it was designed3. No alterations or substitutions are made to the product by the buyer3. Arnett reserves the right to transfer the responsibility of returning the defective product to the buyer, with allshipping and handling costs incurred at the buyer’s expense.* Non-Arnett Parts - Parts or components which are not manufactured by arnett will not be covered under ourArnett waranty.
