MAIN READING A DAY AT THE AMUSEMENT PARK Yesterday was a great day because it was my birthday. My mom promised me a day at the amusement park with my friends Bella and Laura. We were so excited about going to playland park. That place was the most amusing place in my city. When you get there, you can feel the smell of popcorn and cotton candy in the air. Also, you can hear people laughing and screaming. Everything was so amazing. My friends and I wandered around the park, got cotton candy and went on a ride. First, we decided to ride the Ferris wheel. So, we went to the booth to buy a ticket. But Bella didn’t buy a ticket. For Bella, it wasn’t entertaining. When Laura and I rode the Ferris wheel, we could see the whole park from the top of it. Bella wanted to ride the roller coaster. But I didn’t want to ride because I 4 thought that it was so dangerous and scary for me. After a while, I decided to be brave and rode on it with my friends. Actually, I liked being high up. When the roller coaster took me up the hill, my stomach felt like it had butterflies in it. When I got off each ride, I felt really dizzy. I didn’t know how to overcome getting sick on the roller coaster. At the same time, I felt that I was starving and Bella brought me a hot dog. Going upside-down made me really uncomfortable. While I was having some rest, my friends rode on a ghost train, carousel, and chair swings. It was time to go. At the end of the day, we got back home tired but happy. We had a wonderful day, but I needed to take some rest. By the way, Laura’s birthday is three months later. And we know where we want to go again.
