ASSESSMENT REPORT ON AJMAN ARCHIVE CENTER This report is based on the visit to Ajman Archive center on 20th October 2016. Observations and Recommendations:Some of the carton boxes are found 15years old, which can be disposed if it is notnecessary as per DAP (attached).More space can be saved, if old cartonsbeing replaced with the carton boxes of45x45x45 size.4 racks are empty & presently total 720boxes can be placed. (Each rack stores 180carton boxes) Page 1 of 3
The old steel boxes are kept outside, whichcan be removed/disposed if it is not required.Total 4 containers are kept outside in which2 containers are owned by Accounts Dept.which are full with documents (Eachcontainer holds 375 carton boxes).(They have to arrange a container if the nextdispatch is required)The 3rd container is having a damage at theroof so that some of unwanted materials arestored temporarily.The 4th container is fully damaged & it isuseless. 1. One Trolley is damaged which is to be replaced with new one. 2. One Airflow machine is required for cleaning purpose.The carton boxes in racks are properlyarranged and accepted.The Ajman Archive center is operated by 7members team and the team leader is Mr.Pandi.The daily wagers request to increase theirOT as 4 hours as receiving other labours.The current Log in Excel to retrieve files aresatisfactory.
