AVENGERS TEA: INFINITY WAR By Katie Hynds WARNING: includes Spoilers Directors: Anthony and Joe Russo Cast: Robert Downey Jr (Iron Man), Chris Evans (Captain America), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Mark Ruffalo (The Hulk), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Tom Holland (Spiderman), Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther) Synopsis: An unprecedented journey spanning over the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel Studios’ “Avengers: Infinity War” brings to the screen the ultimate showdown. The Avengers and their superhero allies must be willing to sacrifice all in attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos. THE REVIEW Anthony and Joe Russo bring the audience an action-packed, comedy filled movie that has been in the making for ten years. This is the story about Thanos (Josh Brolin) collecting the six infinity stones, which could make him the most powerful being in the universe. The goal of the Avengers and allies is to stop Thanos from destroying the universe. This could make his dream of having a balanced world a reality. All the characters in this film are well-known around the Marvel Universe as they all have been featured in previous movies. A few new faces have appeared but they only play minor characters. The only way someone wouldn’t recognize the characters if they haven’t seen any Marvel movies prior to or heard of the characters before. One thing I’d really like to touch on is how lengthy the film is. The movie runs for two hours and four minutes. Although this may seem very long, it is worth the time because the storytelling is executed precisely. It follows it’s comic origins very well but includes original aspects. Even if you don’t know anything about the Marvel Cinematic Universe you can enjoy this movie, don’t let the runtime scare you away from it!
