INDIA AFRICA FORUM SUMMIT The India Africa Forum Summit is a prestigious event organised by the Ministry of External Affairs of India. The finale of the 2015 Summit was a grand cultural performance conceived , curated and organized by Teamwork Arts. Over 200 Indian and African artistes collaborated on one stage at Rashtrapati Bhavan (President House, New Delhi). The performance was followed by dinner hosted by the President of India for over 54 Heads of State from Africa and select Indian dignitaries. As part of the Summit in 2011, Teamwork Arts curated an exhibition celebrating both the artisans and their art which was held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia where African and Indian craftsmen got together creating for both function and fashion. They dipped into the rich resource and knowledge passed through several generations. These handcrafted treasures, adapted to contemporary needs, continue to survive as living traditions in both the regions. t e a m w o r k a r t s . c o m | 57

INDO-ASEAN COMMEMORATIVE SUMMIT The INDO-ASEAN Commemorative Summit, 2012 was a cultural collaboration held at Rashtrapati Bhavan. A special event created for the heads of the participating ASEAN states, it was a cultural extravaganza celebrating these enduring relationships. 58

SHAHAJAHANABAD: THE TWILIGHT YEARS The four-part documentary based on Delhi, ‘Shahajahanabad - The Twilight Years’, 1850 to 1947, traces a tumultuous hundred years of Delhi, the capital of the Mughal Empire leading to India’s Independence. This 110-minute mini-series has won a number of international awards. THE KILLING FIELDS The religious fair, held annually at the Bhunkal Kalika Devi, temple attracts devotees from Garhwal in Uttarakhand. Set against the torrid background of Sonagachhi in Calcutta, the real-life story of Kamala unfurls amidst the colour and atmosphere of the mundane daily tenor in the life of its residents. Thirteen-year-old Kamala is thrown defenceless into this harsh world of sexual lust and lucre. The film delves into the multiple layers of ignorance and desperation of this macabre world into which helpless children from across the country are thrown and how they eventually grow into being its doyens, thus continuing its vicious circle. SUPER 30 This film is about a remarkable school. Each year Patna’s Ramanujan School of Mathematics selects 30 young students and prepares them for entry to the Indian Institutes of Technology. Most are from underprivileged backgrounds, but all have a talent for mathematics. The Super 30 course is subsidised by the efforts of its founder, Anand Kumar and his teacher-colleague Abayanand, also Bihar’s then Deputy Chief of Police! Granted exclusive access to the Ramanujan School, ORTV UK and Teamwork followed the Super 30, from their initial selection in September 2006, through seven months of study and grinding examinations to the moment when the IIT results were announced in May of that year. 62

FUNNY THINGS India’s first puppet-based political satire. - a music show that showcased live performances by both known and unknown performers. INDIAN SPICE TRAIL A cookery programme featuring Indian cuisine. It had over a 100 episodes in India, Singapore and the US. MASTERCHEF INDIA: HONG KONG Teamwork enabled Star TV’s MasterChef India’s special Hong Kong episodes where contestants were flown down for a two-part segment in this bustling, exciting city. From handling crew and cast arrangements to scouting locations, Teamwork’s production crew made sure the complex show with its many requirements smoothly concluded another successful episode. 64
